Overall a good Sunday out for Jake and Amber at the DNA Lake District Open today! 🏞️🥋
Amber secured Gold in her Under 16 category against a tenacious opponent and then tested herself in a senior catch weight category, coming away with Silver. Not a bad day's work for Amber! 🥇🥈
Jake placed second with the Silver medal, winning two matches with big ippons and only losing to an older more experienced player! More great experience for Jake! 🥈

Great work from our players who attended last night's North West monthly randori meet! A packed mat and lots of quality practice for the team!

We're very proud of all of our players who fought their hearts out today in Yorkshire and St Helens!
We're also thankful to the club mates, friends, family and coaches who made the trip to support our players. On long days like this it really is appreciated and goes a long way to keeping everyone motivated and engaged.

The most important aspect of today is that everyone has come away with clear action points they can reflect on and be excited to work on in training over the coming weeks!
Gold is great, but it doesn't always help players think about their development long term. And so today was a successful day all around! 😁
