It was fantastic to have Amber Grand, one of our prominent senior players take part in our 8 years plus class this evening!

The children congratulated Amber on recently earning her 1st Kyu brown belt! Amber, who has ranked in the top 10 cadet players in the UK in her weight category continues to inspire our junior players and acts as a fantastic role model, especially to the many girls we have who currently train with us!

Amber will now work towards earning the coverted Black Belt, where she will have to fight brown belts and earn points towards her 1st Dan! Congratulations Amber, and the best of luck from all of us!

Fantastic result for Amber today who won Silver at the Heart of England Championships! 🥈

Amber won three fights by a mix of two Ippon throws and one solid tactical victory!

Amber had a 12 minute war with the player who took Gold, and both girls dug deep and absolutely fought their hearts out. The final score was only decided by the slightest of yuko scores. Well done to both players who showed true warrior spirit!
