Welcomed overnight rain followed by a little sunshine this morning as members head on to the course ☀️

Our recent course maintenance may have taken place two weeks ago, but the real benefits are only just beginning to show. 🌱⛳

The recent spell of hot weather has naturally slowed the recovery process, but beneath the surface the work is doing exactly what it was intended to do – relieving compaction, improving air and water movement, and encouraging stronger, healthier root growth.

As temperatures begin to ease, members can expect smoother, firmer and more consistent putting surfaces, along with turf that is better equipped to perform throughout the remainder of the season.

Thank you for your patience and support while the course continues its recovery. The short-term disruption is all part of delivering the long-term quality our members expect and deserve.

⛳ 2026 Course Maintenance ⛳

From Monday 3rd August, our annual greens maintenance programme begins.

While there may be some short-term disruption, this essential work helps keep our greens healthy, firm and consistent throughout the year. By carrying out the programme in August, the greens recover much more quickly than they would later in the season.
