It's going to be a busy half term with both RAD ballet exams and ISTD tap and modern exams, end of term watching week and our 50th anniversary party 🎉

💜 CELEBRATES 50 YEARS 💜

We are down the rabbit hole and over the moon to invite pupils, alumni, families, and friends to Lenham Ballet School’s 50th Anniversary Party!🎉

First established in 1975 under the wonderful Mrs Lawrence, we are celebrating half a century of dance, friendships, and community. 🩰

To mark this incredible golden milestone, we are throwing an Alice in Wonderland 🎩 themed celebration—and you are all invited!

Join us for a magical afternoon of tea 🫖, cake 🍰, and catching up with old friends, and of course, lots of dancing!!!

Dressing up is firmly encouraged! Whether you arrive as the Chesire Cat 🐈, the Queen of Hearts ❤️ or the White Rabbit 🐰, we want to see your most creative costumes.

So pop the date in the diary and letters with further details will be handed out in class to all pupils. Mrs Lawrence would love to see lots of old faces from mover the decades, so pelase pop me a message to let me know you are coming!

This half term has flown by! We've loved watching our dancers learn new skills and share so many smiles along the way.

Hope you all have a relaxing week filled with plenty of sunshine! 😎

Please note that the gate to the car park is locked, however the hall is open as usual.

Our adult ballet ladies have been keeping cool in class 💙
We've been dancing with fans to practice our coordination and to add some dramatic flair to our choreography 🇪🇸💃 Plus, we had lots of giggles too trying to figure out how to handle those fans!

Our dancers were working hard on their musicality yesterday 🎵Understanding rhythm is just as important as mastering technique so they stay perfectly on the beat of the music.

Our pupils love their character dancing and capturing a moment like this brings a smile to my face 💜
