How do I explain how happy this makes me?
We gain so much in SENsory.
✅ sharing space
✅ bonding with other children and adults
✅ gross motor skills
✅ exploring space and equipment
✅ responding to music
✅ exploring emotions
✅ following/acknowledging instructions

even signing together! SEN children make friends in different ways than you’d expect, but friends nevertheless. They might not communicate the same as other children; that doesn’t mean their communications are any less meaningful. And how amazing is that! Being able to share experiences and express emotions without words. I would never diminish the struggles and difficulties of SEND, but it definitely comes with a few super powers ⚡️🩷
