⚽️💙 Match Report – Riverside Juniors U8 Blues 💙⚽️

Today our Riverside Juniors Blues travelled to face Kader United U8s. Despite the recent weather, the game went ahead on a pitch that was in excellent condition – a huge credit to the groundsmen and everyone at Kader Football Club for their hard work 👏

Before the game we spoke about two key things,
🔵 Winning the ball back quickly when we lose possession
🔵 Lifting our heads to scan and making sure we pass with purpose

The boys absolutely excelled at both. Their work rate to regain possession was outstanding, and when on the ball they showed real composure, looking up and playing some excellent purposeful passes.

🧤 Louie was superb in goal, making some brilliant saves while also contributing with excellent passing and distribution from the back.

⚡️ Phoenix was relentless all game and was rewarded with a superb hat-trick, constantly pressing and driving forward.

✨ Alfie grabbed two goals, showing his ability, quick feet and sharp movement in attacking areas.

🎯 William added another goal to cap off a strong team performance.

Shout outs as well to Arthur, Harry, Isaac and today’s captain Enzo 🫡 as well.

A brilliant all-round display full of effort, teamwork and quality football. We’re so proud of how the boys are developing week by week. Well done, Blues! 💙👏
