Welcome to AVGK Coaching for Goalkeeper Specific Training. Coaching is specific to all Goalkeepers needs. The goalkeepers needs are assessed through using an analysis of each were each Goalkeeper will be rated on various goalkeeping attributes. The Goalkeeper Analysis is then used as a tool to measure progression on a monthly basis. Specific Goalkeeper Coaching will help:

*Improve Technique*
*Improve Workrate*
*Understand their knowledge on positioning*
*Develop their movement in goal*
*Learn about decision making*
*Become more consistent and skilled*
*Improve their match performance*
*Most importantly to HAVE FUN*

Some background information on myself:

I initially started coaching at the age of 15 were I formed a team called West Lane Tigers for young people in my local community to help give them some positive activity. We coached 6-11 year olds. Alongside this, I was training with an Academy before starting college. Whilst at College I completed various coaching courses as my aim was to become a Sports Development Officer. Whilst at College and University I played in goal for various Northern League clubs: Guisborough Town, Peterlee Newtown, Marske United and Thornaby whilst also representing The North Riding FA U18's for 2 years. Since College I have studied a BSc (hons) in Youth Studies, worked with varied amounts of children, young people and families throughout the North of England and completing a Postgrad in Child Adolescent Mental Health (largely focusing on development, MH difficulties/diagnosis, assessing MH and understanding various MH difficulties). Whilst working full time supporting children, young people and families for over 15 years I have also, continuously used my coaching abilities within job posts. The last 7 years I have coached down at Kader FC and the last 2 years Whinney Banks and Eaglescliffe Elementis FC too.

Well done Louie 🙌🧤

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH — LOUIE 🏆

One of those games where a goalkeeper has to be absolutely on it from the first whistle to the last — and Louie was exactly that today! 🧤🔥

He faced shot after shot against a top-quality Richmondshire side, yet somehow came away with a clean sheet. That speaks for itself!

His direction was outstanding, constantly organising those in front of him and commanding his area with confidence. Along the way, he pulled off some unreal saves, keeping the ball out when Richmondshire looked certain to score.

And while Louie deserves huge credit, that clean sheet was also down to the massive effort from the defenders in front of him, who battled relentlessly alongside him.

A brilliant team defensive performance, capped off by an outstanding individual display from Louie.

🧤❤️🖤 A well-earned clean sheet and a thoroughly deserved Man of the Match!

Well done, Louie is proudly sponsored by K. B Paving and Groundworks

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH — KIAN 🏆

What an outstanding performance from Kian today! 🔥

His positioning and work rate were the best we’ve seen from him, putting in challenge after challenge and never giving Richmondshire an easy moment.

Under relentless pressure, Kian stayed calm and composed, making some brilliant decisions with his passing and helping to relieve the team from the non-stop pressure throughout the game.

He battled for every ball, worked tirelessly for the team and showed incredible maturity in a very difficult game.

A massive performance from Kian and a thoroughly deserved Man of the Match! 🔴⚫️

Well done, Kian is proudly sponsored by Youcan,Jellystone,CIC
