We have been sat on numerous trains thinking over the past few days which is always a dangerous idea !!

We have in the past bought you many special offers, discounts etc …. Which our loyal supporters have snapped up & we are incredibly glad of their support.

On this occasion we wanted to do something a little bit different & offer something for those who have never run with us before.

“First Time For a Fiver” !

If you’ve never run with us before why not give us a go for a fiver ? You might like it & it’s gonna cost you less than a pint in most pubs (except ironically the one I’m currently sat in ‘).

On Sunday 13th September 2026 (ONLY !!!) why not come & join us - the parking is free, it finishes at the pub & you’ll pick up a bespoke “Flying Scotsman” medal for completing a Marathon, Half Marathon or 50km event on our multi lapped course around Caldecotte Lake in Milton Keynes.

Welcome to Freedom Friday !

We have had a busy week & stikl have course marking to do this afternoon!

This week has seen Die Hard on Christmas Eve sell out earlier than ever (was Sept last year) so we have launched an additional event on Dec 23rd & half those places have been snapped up in 24 hours

We have finalised all our event themes for 2027 & I have just paid for our August medals which will appeal to fans of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Leicester City & Blackburn Rovers 😉 but happy to welcome Spurs, West Ham, Villa, Alb**n & Wolves fans too.

Places update - these are the the ones you will need to get in for Quick !!

Sept - Mystery run - 2 places
Nov - Fireworks- 9 places
July - Star Wars- 6 places

Top Gun, Die Hard (24th Dec) & Quadzilla are all full.

5km runners we have 4 places for next months bullet trains & also 4 for November’s Fireworks 5km.

We are going to bring you at least one Festive 5km so which would you like to see ?

Gremlins or Die Hard ?
