Minehead 4–1 East Coker Cockerels

A fantastic performance from our Under-18s, showing quality, determination and brilliant team spirit throughout.

Haiden scored twice in quick succession, including a superb header. After the break, he completed a perfect hat-trick from the penalty spot before setting up Edward to seal an impressive 4–1 victory.

A fantastic weekend of football from our youth teams, with plenty of hard work, determination and brilliant teamwork on display! 👏⚽️

Our U14 Girls played an incredibly tight game against last season’s title winners, with very little separating the two teams.

The U12 Blue Stags put in a brilliant team performance.

⚽ WELCOME BACK, MINEHEAD AFC YOUTH! ⚽

After what we hope has been a fantastic summer break from league football for all our players, coaches, and their families, we're delighted to welcome everyone back for a new season of youth football fixtures both playing at home and away across Somerset this weekend. We wish every player the very best as football returns.

Jason Hill, Chairman of Minehead AFC, said:
"I hope everyone has had a great summer break and is refreshed, motivated and ready to hit the ground running for the new season. Our youth section continues to go from strength to strength thanks to the dedication of our players, coaches, volunteers and parents. Most importantly, enjoy your football, support your teammates and make some great memories along the way. Good luck to all our teams this weekend and throughout the season."

🤝 NEW PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT 🤝

Ahead of tomorrow’s home fixture against Peasedown, we’re delighted to announce a new partnership with eljet.exterior.cleaning!

Eljet has kindly agreed to power wash the external areas of the Minehead AFC clubhouse every quarter. After a busy summer of football, events and community use, the clubhouse was certainly ready for some attention, and the difference made by their work today is clear to see! 👏

As a community football club, support from local businesses is vital in helping us maintain and improve our facilities for players, volunteers and supporters. We’re incredibly grateful to LJ and the team at Eljet Exterior Cleaning for their generosity and commitment to Minehead AFC.

We’re also pleased to unveil Eljet Exterior Cleaning’s new pitchside advertising board, which you’ll see at The Rec throughout the season! ⚽️
