Islwyn Riding Club is a grassroots riding club dedicated to providing fun, engaging and motivating opportunities for local riders in a fully inclusive and welcoming environment. J J Dressage Judging is a new name but not a new face! Our friends old and new will know Julia (Jules to most of us) as a familiar face at sinai over the years! Jules has recently become a list 5 BD judge and we are very proud of her as she is awesome 👌

Many years ago after competing successfully both Nationally and Internationally as a British Para Dresaage Rider representing both Wales and GB i started writing for judges to learn more about the sport and also progress my own knowledge of the scales of training and how this relates to the judging system so that I could use my test sheets as a learning tool. I was encouraged to start judging as I had a good range of knowledge and was also empathetic. This was accelerated due to a judge not able to attend a Sinai event and I stepped in with an experienced writer. I realised from that day I had a passion for judging and developed my skills judging for many years unaffiliated before going through training to become a list 5 judge.
My plan is to next month complete my training as a music judge and to slowly go up the lists so that I am a list 2 when I retire! I love to judge unaffiliated and quest especially as i get to see the journey from the starting point and the progression through learning and experience especially in a series.

I am thrilled to support Sinai Dresaage through the young Horse class. I have attended this event for many years since it's origin as a competitor on young/green horses, a trainer and as a judge. The supportive and encouraging manner of this event has helped so many horses and riders develop and progress over the years including a couple my very own horses who went onto great things in their careers. It is a privilege to be part of a Dressage series that supports growth and development.

We have a few sections that are not sponsored atm so if anyone, private people or companies are interested please get in touch.

Class sponsorship intro or prelim is £160 ( can be paid in installments) this covers all the monthly rosettes in your choice of 2 colours plus printing on the tails. A gorgeous sash and rosettes for the championship show in april. You will get lots of tags on our page plus on lots of others people pages who won your rosettes! Named in schedule and each month on the times so its great exposure as well as sharing on other pages.

Mini championships are £30 which covers a gorgeous sash and rosettes at our championship show in april. You will also get lots of tags on Facebook.

Advertising is really expensive so this is a great way of reaching lots of people!
