Year 12 Jacob B has got an exciting few days ahead of him. He has been selected to represent an England under 19 invitational XI to play against England under 19 and South Africa this upcoming weekend. Jacob, who is the vice captain of the schools 1st XI, is a part of the Glamorgan Senior Academy and has represented the Glamorgan 2nd XI on a few occasions already this summer. HMSRC are proud to announce their 1st VIII for Henley Royal Regatta 2026.
Congratulations to Alec, Kopano, Henry, Willem, Charlie, Ed, James, Ollie and Frankie who have worked so hard all year to earn their place. They are racing at Marlow Regatta today so good luck!

Our Year 9 riders delivered outstanding performances at the National Schools Equestrian Championships during half term—showcasing fantastic talent and determination on a national stage. 👏

🌟 Libby W. impressed in the Dressage Championships, achieving an incredible 2nd and 5th place with outstanding scores of 72% and 69%. She also competed brilliantly in the Arena Eventing Championships, finishing 18th out of 148 riders, and was part of the Dressage Team that secured an excellent 6th place.

🌟 Ffion B. enjoyed a hugely successful championships, claiming a fantastic 3rd place in the 85cm Showjumping Championships and contributing to the Showjumping Team’s 5th place finish.

🌟 Bella B. played an important role in the Dressage Team, helping the squad achieve a strong 6th place national finish.

These results are a remarkable achievement against tough national competition, and we are incredibly proud of Libby W., Ffion B. and Bella B. for their dedication, skill and sportsmanship. 🌟👏

Well done to Neyo on a fantastic performance in his first Wales Golf Mini Masters tournament (Under 7s), where he finished in an impressive 2nd place with a score of 54—just one shot behind the leader.

There were some brilliant highlights, including driving the green on the first hole—an outstanding achievement! A great all-round performance with plenty to be proud of as he continues to develop his game.

We are delighted to celebrate Taio’s latest achievement in golf. After competing in three Faldo Futures qualifying events at The Warwickshire, Whitchurch and Trefloyne Golf Clubs, he secured his place in the regional final at The Warwickshire.

Following a strong performance there, Taio has now qualified for the Faldo Futures Final at The Belfry on 26 August, taking place during the British Masters, hosted by Sir Nick Faldo.

A fantastic achievement and an exciting opportunity to compete on such a prestigious stage – congratulations, Taio, and best of luck in the final! 👏
