Thank you to everyone who came along last night, probably the busiest Friday night we've had so far! Amazing to have so many different groups of dancers in one place! Didnt get through even halfofthe requests I received, but I hope I played something for everyone! See you all again soon!

I sold my soul still packing the floor :-)

31/07/2026

Packed house at AJ Dance tonight! :-)

22/07/2026

Everyone braving class after a few quiet weeks!

16/07/2026

In addition to my post earlier this week (below), my beginners got "Lovin' Where It's Goin". I wrote it 3 years ago to teach my beginners how to do coaster steps - and now my new class needed to learn them! Perfect practice that we smashed! Love the music, so I was happy to bring it back!

Better get looking for next weeks dances hadn't I??

NEW DANCES FROM LAST WEEK & THIS WEEK

MONDAY INTERMEDIATES
Sticks and Stone by Maddison, Simon & Niels. Great dance that went down well tonight - i'm quite late to the party teaching it, but glad I did. Phrased A/B but only 1 wall.

WEDNESDAY BEGINNERS
Go Cat Go by Gaye Teather - had a few newbies start with us last week, so threw this little handy dance in! Undecided on this week's dance at the moment, depends on who shows up!

WEDNESDAY BEGINNER/IMPROVERS

Open Book by Jo Thompson-Szymanski - wanted something slow for the hot weather last week. Plucked this golden oldie, danced to Scooter Lee and then an Enrique song that I currently can't remember the name of!

Find Me A Beach by Teresa & Vera & Gary Steele. Nice catchy little dance that i'm looking forward to teaching this week.

WEDNESDAY EASY INTERMEDIATES

Dust off of me by Darren Bailey. Nice steady waltz I've been wanting to do, but put off for a few weeks whilst they varnished the floor. Not done a waltz for a while, so will make a nice change. Will teach this week, nothing last week due to the heat!
