The Winter solstice, is looming…! 🌒

Our shortest day- It falls on 21st December 2026 and is often celebrated in the yoga community.

Both the shortest and longest days are recognised by doing 108 sun salutations, if you are new to this bi-annual celebration it is linked to the female and male energy in the cosmic and spiritual world and the practice itself is a seen as a moving meditation. It’s a great place to look inward, set intentions and focus the mind on what you want as you move towards the lighter nights that follow 🌙

There are variations within the sun salutations that can make the journey manageable no matter the level you are working it.
This includes a 12 breath arm variation for those wishing to join us but not take the physical practice too far, you can always dip in and out of the postures you are comfortable with or stand in quiet meditation. Your choice.

At this time of year, working towards 108 is a wonderful goal to help us build up stamina and radiance in the body and allow gratitude to flow as we head towards the festive season.

📖 If you’d like to join us for the practice of our winter solstice it will take place on Monday 21st December

🕰️ 10-12noon

🧘‍♀️ YogaK wellbeingStudio YogaK Wellbeing Studio. Wych bank, Nantwich

Following the completion of the sun salutations we will enjoy a relaxation/ meditation and for those of who wanting to celebrate the season, our achievement and each other we will head out into Nantwich for a bite to eat with some Christmas cheer 🎉🌲

Cost is £40 - TO BOOK YOUR PLACE 👇 (

(We may even get some of our older students to help wrap the boxes 🗃️ 💛!)
