Martial arts is often seen as a male-dominated world, but at Newcastle Goju-Ryu, we are proud that our dojo is nearly 50% female. It’s a statistic you rarely see in this industry, and today, the draw reflected that balance perfectly.
We are thrilled to announce that the students winning the fully funded scholarship to the USA are an all-female trio! 🥋💪
This wasn't a selection, but a draw—and the girls came out on top.
