The Town Moor core team were on tour today at Leazes parkrun (plus our star Timekeeper, Andrew Slattery but he was still working at the time of the photo).

Where did you run on this millionth parkrun weekend?

In our downtime over the next couple of weeks, we will be picking our Female Participant, Male Participant and Volunteer of the Year. Do you have any nominations in these 3 categories? If so, please email us at [email protected].

The winners will be announced at our Annual Celebration on the 1st August at Wylam Brewery. Please put that date in your diary if you would like to come along.

Thanks,
Peter

Just a quick reminder that we are CANCELLED tomorrow and for the following 2 weeks because of the Hoppings Fair.

Obviously, we are disappointed not be able to join in the celebrations for the millionth parkrun which will happen somewhere tomorrow.

I hope you enjoy your parkrun wherever that might be tomorrow and we will celebrate the millionth parkrun with you when we return on the 4th July.

Thanks,
Peter

It's a wrap for another week. A massive thank you to all our volunteers on this National Volunteer Week. We are off for the next 3 weeks for the Hoppings so enjoy your travels, and do consider volunteering for us when we are back on July 4th.
We had a Yale type key handed in today - contact us if you lost one.

Congratulations to Paolo and Lucy who are getting married at the Wylam today, well done to Paolo and his pals who ran with us today.

Well done to Chris and Emma Scott who completed their 150th parkruns today.

Thanks to all the visitors with us today from around the country, including our two visitors from Lanarkshire who joined us afterwards for coffee at the Wylam Brewery.

Good luck tonight to Heather Lambert running the Housesteads leg of a Hadrian’s Wall relay for Motor Neuron Disease.

Any issues with the results contact us on [email protected].

Photos from Simon D will be uploaded later.

Thanks again folks, from Russell and the team.
