It was good to get our annual photo of our Great North Run participants last weekend. There were probably double the number of participants wearing the t-shirt when we started, but we got as many people as we could at the time the photo was taken.
You might remember that at our event the week before, we focussed on GNR t-shirts from the past and our feature year was 2004. The first three participants who joined us at the start wearing their 2004 t-shirt received a chocolate treat.
Obviously, the Great North Run is now a distant memory and our focus is now on filling our volunteer roster for this Saturday. It is really important for us to have sufficient numbers because with the students returning, we are in one of the busiest times of the year in terms of participant numbers.
We are still looking for the following volunteers for Saturday:-
3 x Marshal’s
2 x Barcode Scanners
1 x Photographer
