A week on from the Gosforth Summer Relays 2026 and we’re still buzzing. 🟢⚪️

What a day it was — runners from clubs across the North East filling Great Park with energy, teamwork and proper summer‑race atmosphere. From the juniors to the seniors, the support, the smiles and the performances made it one of our strongest events yet.

Gosforth Summer Relays & Junior Races 2026 – Event Report Great Park once again hosted the UK Athletics‑licensed Gosforth Summer Relays & Junior Races on Sunday 2nd August 2026. Under bright sunshine and perfect racing conditions, the venue looked fantastic and provided an excellent backdrop for a full morning of competitive running.

We’re down to just 6 entries for the 2026 Gosforth Summer Relays on Sunday 2nd August.

If your team hasn’t claimed a place yet, now’s the time. Even Oliver Twist asking Steve “The Chief” Boddy for more won’t help — once they’re gone, they’re gone.

The rain tried its best, but it didn’t dampen our spirit — or our Pride. As part of our Pride Weekend celebrations, the team headed out in full rainbow mode, keeping the energy high after a brilliant few days of running, community and support.

Smiles, miles and every colour under the sun (even if the sun didn’t show up). That’s how we do it.
