What a night on the Newcastle Quayside for the Quayside 5K & Junior 3K 🟢⚪️
A fast, flat, World Athletics–measured course, iconic bridges overhead, and a buzzing riverside crowd — the perfect setting for some brilliant running from our Harriers.
We had three athletes representing the club, and every one of them delivered:
🌟 Chloe Das — an outstanding performance in the Junior 3K, finishing as 1st female in an incredible 11:20. A huge achievement and a moment to be proud of.
👟 Lewis Proud — a superb run in the 5K, powering home in 17:49 on one of the region’s quickest courses.
👟 Chris Williams — our Club Captain showing strong form with a brilliant 18:45 over 5K.
From the Swing Bridge to the Millennium Bridge, the atmosphere was unreal — and our Harriers rose to the occasion.
Well done to Chloe, Lewis and Chris for flying the green and white on the Tyne.
