Two years ago, our lovely Bex was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Sadly, she recently found out that the cancer had spread to her bones.

On 15th August, a group of Bex’s friends and colleagues will be walking 30km from the Macmillan Unit at West Suffolk Hospital back to The National Stud. Our aim is to raise enough money to send Bex and her husband Steve on the holiday of a lifetime.

Any donation, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated and will help us get closer to our target. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this post would be greatly appreciated and would help us reach as many people as possible

🚨 STRADIVARIUS’ first ever runner has been declared!

The Dylan Cunha trained filly Divine Concerto lines up in the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes (Class 2) over 6½ furlongs at Doncaster on Saturday.

We cannot wait to see the first runner by Strad take to the racecourse. Best of luck to owner-breeder Linda Mars, Culworth Grounds and Fortune Bloodstock.

Black type for RAJASINGHE!

Luna A Inbhir Nis, daughter of RAJASINGHE, becomes a black-type performer after finishing 3rd in the Listed Betway Achilles Stakes at Carlisle, beaten only 3/4 of a length. A model of consistency with 6 wins last season and over £76,000 in earnings, she was purchased for just 1,000gns at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale 2022 by Summerstorm Bloodstock for the Katie Scott team.

This week’s is a very special one… last Saturday, this Stradivarius filly was born - marking the final foal of our 2026 breeding season and bringing our total number of foals on the ground to 176, setting a new annual foaling record for The National Stud. 🎉

This milestone is a testament to the dedication, skill and tireless 24/7 care of everyone involved. From long nights to early mornings, it’s a true team effort and one we are incredibly proud of.
