🐉𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 | Secondary Provision

BRING Dragons RFC INTO YOUR SECONDARY SCHOOL

At Ysgol Gymraeg Gwynllyw Coach Dafydd Kingston delivered another fantastic session for Years 7, 8 & 9 boys and Year 7 girls, with a focus on contact skills, catch & pass and developing confidence through rugby.

But our Secondary Provision is about much more than rugby.

We use the power of sport to help young people:

✅ Get active and improve physical literacy
✅ Develop confidence and self-belief
✅ Build communication and teamwork skills
✅ Learn resilience and perseverance
✅ Develop rugby skills in a fun, supportive environment
✅ Create positive experiences around physical activity

The last session was a great example of this in action, with pupils working hard on tackle technique and post-contact skills while enjoying plenty of repetition, learning and most importantly having fun.

A particular highlight was seeing five girls experience rugby for the first time.
They jumped straight in, embraced the contact elements and really enjoyed the session.

This is what Dragons RFC Secondary Provision is all about, engaging young people, creating opportunities and using rugby to develop skills that go far beyond the pitch.

📣 Could your school benefit from a Dragons RFC Secondary Provision?
