A place in the final is up for grabs! Cornwall Sunday Cup semi-final this weekend.

Our vets host Bude Town at Mount Wise, Sunday morning, 10:30am kick-off.

That's three semi-finals in a row now for our vets and winners last time out. This is a squad that doesn't always get the headlines, but they've been one of the most consistent sides at the club for years. Most of them played Step 6 in their younger days, a few represented Newquay's first team, and they still turn up and compete every week.

Sunday's an open-age competition, so it won't be the same Bude side we've faced in the vets league, but we've had good games against them in cup competitions before.

Get down Mount Wise Sunday morning if you can.

Didds Dick of the Day: Andy Miles 💩

Tough call today — for once, no one truly deserved it… but Andy Miles decided to nominate himself!

In a moment of magic, he attempted a pass and somehow managed to send the ball straight out for a throw-in.

Sam put in a fantastic performance today — relentless in midfield and solid from start to finish. His work rate and determination didn’t go unnoticed.

The lads started off with real intensity today against Dobwalls, with Andy Miles finding the back of the net in the opening 20 seconds! Just minutes later, Ben Colquhoun doubled our lead with a goal in the 4th minute.

Dobwalls pulled one back to make it 2–1, but despite the relentless sideways rain, our boys stood strong and delivered a solid performance throughout.
