⚫️🟡U14 Girls Championship Semi-Final ⚫️🟡
Last match of the season for our U14 girls, as they faced Division 2 side Mayobridge in the C Championship Cup semi-final.

It wasn’t our day, but what a game the girls delivered. After a nail-biting 60 minutes the game went to extra time and finished up:
Glenn 3–8
Mayobridge 3–11

These 25 girls have worked incredibly hard from February right through to October, and they can be so proud of everything they have achieved.

🏐 18 league games
🏆 3 tournaments
🥇 Championship Cup semi-final

What a season for this amazing bunch of girls. Their commitment, effort and determination have been outstanding, and they have done themselves, their families and Glenn club proud every step of the way.

A huge well done to you all 💛🖤

And that’s a wrap…

Well done to all the U10 & U12 girls and boys who took part in the annual Philip O’Hare and Dromantine Cup games today to finish the 2026 season.

There was great skill and teamwork on display across both pitches and it was brilliant to see how all our young players have developed throughout the year 🙌
Thanks to all our U14 players for mentoring the teams and to Patrick and Claire for refereeing 👏

Thanks also to Around a Pound for sponsoring the goodie bags for all the players.

Finally, thanks to all the parents for your support in bringing the children out to training and to matches near and far all year 🚕
Enjoy the break everyone 🖤💛
