After last week’s game was called off due to a frozen pitch, we’re set to get going again as the league restarts after the winter break.

Last Week’s Result:
Greenfield picked up a brilliant 4–2 win over Rockview. Rian McKevitt bagged two great goals, with Dylan Devlin and Cormac Flanagan also getting on the scoresheet. It was a strong all-round performance and a fully deserved result.

We’ll be hoping to carry that momentum into this weekend’s game.

Great 4–2 win for Greenfield today against Rockview. We started well and went 2–0 up with two tidy finishes from Rian McKevitt. Rockview pulled one back, but Dylan Devlin hit our third to make it 3–1.

They scored again to make it 3–2, but Cormac Flanagan settled it late on with our fourth to wrap up the win.

Solid performance and fully deserved result 💪

Match Report: Rockview United 1–1 Greenfield 🟢⚪

Greenfield had to settle for a point away to Rockview United after a hard-fought 1–1 draw, but the lads can count themselves very unlucky not to have taken all three.

Despite a number of questionable decisions going against us throughout the match, the team showed real character and refused to let it derail their performance. We created the better chances and pushed for a winner right to the end.

Our persistence finally paid off in the closing moments when Aidan Bell produced a moment of real quality with an inch-perfect outside of the foot pass that split the defence and found Niall Harte, who made no mistake, slotting home to make it 1–1 at the death.

A frustrating result given how the game went, but a great display of resilience and fight from the lads 👊
