Week 1 was such a busy and successful few days, with a waiting list even in place! We loved seeing so many children getting involved, having fun and enjoying all the sports and games.

Week 2 is filling up fast too, so don’t leave it too late!

🏑⚽ WHO’S READY TO ‘KICK-OFF’ OUR CAMPS TOMORROW!? ⚽🏑

Just a few key reminders ahead of tomorrow morning:

📍 Hockey Camp
Sessions, drop-off & collection are all at the Outdoor Blue Hockey Pitch.

📍 Football Camp
Sessions, drop-off & collection are all at the Indoor 3G Pitch, just off Sports Centre Reception.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Attending both camps?
If you have children attending both Hockey and Football Camp, please drop off and collect them at their respective camp locations.

We appreciate this may take a few extra minutes at collection if your children are at different locations, but rest assured, our coaches will stay with them until they are collected 💙

✅ Please remember your camp checklist:
shin guards, astros/trainers, a drink and a nut-free snack. Hockey players should also bring a stick if they have one (we have spares available to borrow!)

⏰🏑 THE COUNTDOWN IS ON 🏑⏰

Just six weeks to go until we’re back in action on the pitch! The response so far has been unbelievable, we’re already ¾ FULL with plenty of time still to go!

We’re absolutely buzzing to see so many familiar faces returning, but equally, we’re so excited to welcome lots of new children too, including some we’ve met at our summer camps and others who are completely new 💙

📅 We kick off Saturday 19th September, once everyone’s settled back into their school routines. The term runs until Saturday 28th November, with breaks on:

🚫 Saturday 31st October

It honestly never fails to surprise us just how popular our Saturday morning hockey has become and how much it continues to grow. We’re so grateful for the incredible support 🥹

Our Hockey and Football Camps, running Monday–Wednesday next week, are now FULLY BOOKED with waitlists in place!

All parents should have received their camp information email this morning. If you haven’t seen it yet, please check your junk/spam folder, as it contains everything you’ll need ahead of camp.

A few important reminders:

🏑 Hockey Camp
-Sessions will take place on the Outdoor Blue Hockey Pitch.
-Drop-off and collection will also be at the Outdoor Blue Hockey Pitch.

⚽ Football Camp
-Sessions will take place on the Indoor 3G Pitch, just off Sports Centre Reception.
-Drop-off and collection will also be at the Indoor 3G Pitch.

👨‍👩‍👧 Attending both camps?
If you have siblings attending both Hockey and Football Camps, please drop off and collect them at their respective camp locations.

We completely understand that it may take a few extra minutes to collect children from both locations. Don’t worry, our coaching team will remain with all children at their designated collection points until they’ve been collected.

🌟 DAY 5: CAMP ROUNDUP 🌟

And that’s a wrap on our 2026 Multi-Sport Camps at Jordanstown Sports Village… but fear not, we’re not finished just yet 🤩 Next week we’ll be rounding off our entire Summer Camp programme with our Football Camp and Hockey Camps, so there’s still plenty of FUN to come!

We honestly can’t believe we’ve reached the final day of our Multi-Sport Camps. The summer has flown by, and it’s been an absolute privilege to welcome so many fantastic children through our doors. Some have joined us week after week, while others have spent just a few days with us, but no matter how long you’ve been part of FUNKEY this summer, we hope every child has left with happy memories, new friendships and a smile on their face 💙

A huge WELL DONE to today’s CAMP STARS, pictured below ⬇️ They were recognised for their fantastic manners, kindness, teamwork and willingness to get involved in every activity. They consistently included others, were always happy to lend a helping hand and gave every challenge their very best effort. They should all be incredibly proud of themselves!

A quick update: Our Football and Hockey Camp are now fully booked, with waiting lists in place for both camps.

💫 DAY 4: CAMP ROUNDUP 💫

Today marked the penultimate day of our Multi-Sport Camp, and what a session it was 🤩 Arguably our best of the week, with fantastic attitudes, positive behaviour and brilliant effort from every single camper. One thing we’ve especially loved seeing is how kind, patient and encouraging our older campers have been with the younger children, it really sums up what FUNKEY is all about 💙

Through today’s activities campers were challenged to dodge, weave and think on their feet, finding clever ways to avoid being caught while staying aware of the space and players around them. There were plenty of laughs, quick reactions and brilliant movement on display throughout the day!

💥 DAY 3: CAMP ROUNDUP 💥

We’re officially halfway through our final week of Multi-Sport Camp at Jordanstown Sports Village… and we had another busy day packed full of fun from start to finish!

Today’s activities saw campers take part in a variety of exciting games that encouraged them to react quickly, work together, adapt to different situations, and develop their attacking and defending skills. It was fantastic to see every age group getting fully involved and giving each challenge their best!

A huge WELL DONE to today’s CAMP STARS, pictured below ⬇️ They were chosen by our coaches for their lovely manners, fantastic teamwork and the excellent level of skill they demonstrated throughout the day. A very well-deserved achievement ⭐

We’re looking forward to making the most of our final two days of Multi-Sport Camp and can’t wait to see everyone back tomorrow!

⚡️ DAY 2: CAMP ROUNDUP ⚡️

What a day! With another full house at camp, it was all systems go from the moment everyone arrived. The energy, excitement and smiles never faded, making for another action-packed day from start to finish.

Today’s activities all centred around teamwork. Our youngest campers worked on taking turns, cooperating with others and learning to play together. Our middle group focused on working collectively to achieve a shared goal, while our oldest campers developed their tactical thinking by creating strategies and working together to overcome different challenges. It was brilliant to see every age group embracing the importance of being a great teammate 💙

A huge WELL DONE to today’s CAMP STARS, pictured below ⬇️ Today’s three winners have been with us throughout the summer, and today’s award was thoroughly deserved. They continue to lead by example with their fantastic teamwork, skill, effort and positive attitudes, while always encouraging those around them!

🔥 DAY 1: CAMP ROUNDUP 🔥

Week 4 is officially underway… our final week of Multi-Sport Camps at Jordanstown Sports Village, and what a start it was 🤩 The coaches were in their element, the children arrived full of energy, and there was a real buzz around camp from the moment everyone arrived.

Today’s activities focused on developing agility, movement, spatial awareness, teamwork and quick decision-making through a variety of fun games and challenges. It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, supporting one another and throwing themselves into every activity.

A special mention to Coach Sam, who was back with our oldest group today and has introduced a new leaderboard and points system for the week, safe to say there’s plenty to play for!

After a well-earned snack break and some free play (which didn’t last long, as everyone was keen to get back into the action!), we enjoyed an afternoon packed with football matches, a huge game of dodgeball and plenty of tag and catching games.
