Just to clarify....
We are not performing in front of a live audience this year, as we don't have enough parents with a Council approved Chaperone Licence to comply with safeguarding regulations.
Instead we are producing a professional recording here at the Village Hall (although it will be transformed for the recording day!)
All pupils need to attend on Wednesday 14th October for a Dress Rehearsal (everyone has received a schedule) and all pupils need to attend again for filming on Wednesday 21st October (the same schedule as the rehearsal)
The company will then edit the film, which we will be able to view on a big screen, here at the Village Hall on the specified dates in November - simply choose which one you would like to come to. Tickets for the film nights go on sale for a week commencing Saturday 19th September - all the details are in the pinned posts at the top of our social media pages 😊

IMPORTANT GENERAL INFORMATION!!
I hope you're all squeezing every last drop of Summer out & that you were all happy with your various exam results!!
It's been a fairly busy Summer with the usual admin and training - renewing subscriptions etc and hiding from heatwaves 🫣
But now of course we prepare for a few very busy months ahead!

We return on Monday 14th September ☺️

TICKET SALES
We begin selling tickets for "Lights, Camera, Action!" at the Hall from Saturday 19th September (morning) and all of that week during usual class times... Please see our pinned posts for all the details and remember this is cash only!
Please please please support our School by purchasing tickets and grabbing family and friends for a night out to watch our students up there on the big screen!! 😁

I will be needing a little bit of supervisory help on our Dress Rehearsal October 14th and the filming day October 21st (escorting children to & from the Main Hall) so please message me if you could spare a few hours...
THERE WILL BE NO NORMAL LESSONS ON THESE DAYS - PLUS - NO LESSONS ON Saturday 14th November - as we will need to set up for the Film !!!

Film Nights - November 14th and 15th - I might need an extra pair of hands behind 'the bar' or general help in the kitchen so again please message me if you can help!

I still have a few uncollected costumes too so I must try to have all those sorted out in September.

If anyone could possibly help with securing our big backdrops on filming day (October 21st) at around lunchtime that would be such a big weight off my mind, it's a two person job involving ladders and is the only thing I can't manage 😕 I have already enlisted various family members to help with sooo much other stuff but this is a bit of a problem 😬😂

TICKET SALES:
Thank you to Mrs H for giving up her time to sell tickets - you may come along on the following dates to purchase - cash only please - at the Hall.
Saturday 19th September 9.30-12
Monday 21st September 4-5
Tuesday 22nd September 4-5
Wednesday 23rd September 4-7
Thursday 24th September 4-7

So choose which Screening you would like to come to and come along and book your seats! (these will now be allocated so early birds get the best!)
Young children may sit on laps for free, all other children must have seats.
Please note, our disco will only follow the one Saturday screening.

Film Nights 📽️ & times ⏰
Saturday 14th November 6pm
(Doors open from 5pm)
Disco to follow the film 🕺

Sunday 15th November
Screening One - 4.30pm
(Doors open from 3.30pm)

Screening Two - 7pm
(Arrival from 6pm)

Our film is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes including a little interval.
Refreshments will be available to buy at each screening 😊 🍵🥤 ☕

We have recently welcomed students who have begun ballet much later than 'the norm' - for many different reasons....& they are thoroughly enjoying this wonderful world!!
And of course we have our lovely Adult Ballet Class! 🥰

Wow some stunning work from our Senior Ballet today - I'm sorry I don't have much time to get many pics but we were just having a practice in some tutu skirts so I had a chance to take some snaps....
All classes worked extremely hard today and I'm really proud of everyone and the effort they are putting in. Bravo each and every one 😁👏 xx

On Tuesday 30th June between 3 and 7 pm there will be a public consultation regarding the proposed plans for alterations to the Village Hall and to put a Nursery on the site of The Oasis building. The consultation will be held in The Main Hall itself.
So lessons on this day will be in The Oasis Studio.
