Season stops… Badgering never does. 🦡

With today’s 10s tournament unfortunately cancelled, plans were quickly remade with players and parents heading off for a day of paintballing at Conflict Paintball, Grendon Lakes.

Lots of smiles, laughter, jumps, scares… and probably the odd “ouch, that hurt!”

A brilliant day had by all and another great example of the friendships and team spirit that make this group so special.

💚💛🦡 U12 BADGERS OFF-SEASON TRAINING 🦡💛💚

Our current U12 Badgers (moving up to U13s in September) are launching a 6-week off-season programme for new players, returning players and existing Badgers looking to keep developing over the summer.

A great opportunity to build confidence, improve skills and fitness, and be part of a positive team environment ahead of pre-season.

A big thank you and well done to all our M&J Badgers who turned up on Saturday to take part in the Guard of Honour for our 1XV and Vets at Badgerfest.

A fantastic turnout and great to see so many young Badgers showing their support, you represented the club brilliantly!

💚💛🦡 CHARLIE HUGHES TROPHY 🦡💛💚

On Sunday, we proudly presented the Charlie Hughes Trophy in memory of our dear Badger, Charlie Hughes.

The trophy will be awarded each season to a Badger who has shown true resilience, reflecting the strength of character, determination and spirit that Charlie brought to the club.

This year’s winner is fully deserving, a fantastic example of what it means to be a Badger.

💚💛🦡 THE CHARLIE HUGHES SHIELD 🦡💛💚

Yesterday saw our inaugural Charlie Hughes Shield match, played in memory of our dear Badger, Charlie Hughes.

The shield will be competed for each season, with the current U16s selecting a fixture to play in his honour, a lasting tribute to Charlie and the spirit he brought to the club.

It was a special and meaningful occasion for everyone involved, and we’re proud to say Bugbrooke came away with the win.
