What a fantastic afternoon of friendly touch rugby yesterday, bringing together a brilliant combination of Northwich RUFC, Cheshire Fire Service Cheshire Fire RUFC & Davenham Dads Club Davenham & Macclesfield Dads Club ! 👏

Energetic and full of laughs — but most importantly, played in the true spirit of rugby. 🤝 And to make it even more special, for the final quarter the children joined in too! 👧👦🏉 Watching the next generation get involved, play alongside parents and friends, and simply enjoy being part of the game was exactly what rugby is all about.

Different teams. Different backgrounds. One game. 💪 A brilliant reminder that rugby is about so much more than what happens on the pitch — it’s about bringing people together. 🫶

This is rugby. This is community. This is family. 🏉❤️💛💚

It is with much sadness we have to report the loss of another former Black & Gold player. Many of our older members will have graced the field alongside Brian.

Yesterday saw us back in action as we welcomed NewportSalopRUFC for our first valuable preseason friendly! 💪

Plenty to be excited about, plenty of positives to take, and plenty of signs that this group is heading in the right direction. 👊🦌

There’s still work to do as we head into the final stages of preseason — a few things to sharpen up, a few lessons to take on board, and plenty more to build on. 🔧⚡

But that’s exactly what preseason is for… putting the pieces together before it really counts! 🧩🏉

The intensity is building, the squad is coming together, and there’s a lot to look forward to. 👀🔥
