U15s 7:3 Clenchwarton

Well, the 100 mile round trip was worth it this morning!

A trip to (rainy) Kings Lynn saw our u15s leave with all three points today and a celebratory maccies to boot.

With a couple of minutes Alfie put us into the lead, only for the home team to respond almost immediately.
..Enter Harley.

Having made his physical presence felt, he proceeded to smash in a hat trick, with only a goal in response. The boys were up for the challenge today, playing some lovely football, and defending firmly.

Halftime 4:2

But Harley wasn't done yet, still hungry, he continued his scoring streak by knocking home a further three goals, the 5th being an absolute screamer into the top corner. Clenchwarton could only muster a single goal in the second half.

Full-time 7:3

Outstanding performance from the team, couldn't be more proud of this group of lads.

Thanks to all the parents for driving such a long way!

U15s 2:0 Cringleford hornets.

Great start to the season for the boys.

Buxton were in control for large proportions of the game today, the score would've been more had it not been for a very good (and tall) cringleford keeper. Several opportunities came our way in the first half, all beaten away by the keeper, our defence stood firm, limiting the opposition to a single corner and chance on goal.

Halftime 0:0

Second half goals from Harley and Fin secured the points on the opening day of the season. Benji came close several times, one of which only being saved by the fingertips of the keeper pushing the ball off onto the post.

We have a great group of lads now, showing maturity and composure on the ball, they all worked hard for each other today to get a well deserved result - well done boys! 💪
