The HainfordVillage Hall Committee is considering applying for a “Target Trainer” (as above) to further enhance the facilities for young people while they play on the field at Hainford Village Hall. There is an opportunity for this 10m long x 2 m high wall to be fully funded with a Lottery Grant, should we be successful with our application.
We welcome your comments on whether or not you feel this would be of benefit to the community. Please respond to [email protected] or to FB with your thoughts. Thank you.
Football Matches will take place on the field
16th May,
23rd May,
6th June,
20th June.
All games 10am to 11am.
A pink I Shuffle has been found near the VH. It was found by the people litter picking so could have been on the ground for some time. Anyone own it?
If it is yours please email [email protected]

“Hainford History group had a friendly and informative meeting on April 13th. We heard a short talk about the Maids Head history through newspapers. A talk supported by the Hainford Parish newsletters from the late Basil Cooper’s collection, sparked some interesting conversations and history swapping.
A Millenium Book was mentioned on n 2000/2001. Is there a copy about still?
Hainford Group’s next meeting is Monday 11May 2026. All welcome.

Notice to all dogs who use the field.....
We are very pleased that on a Tuesday evening 5.30 -6.30 and the occasional Saturday morning if they have match, a football team of 7-9 year old children will be using the field.
Could you please ask your owners to keep you on a lead when you see the footballers playing.
We don't want you to be hit by a ball or inadvertently kicked by a budding David Beckham
And please try and keep your owners under control as well...
Thank you
