Every story has a beginning
This is mine
Sometimes we become so focused on where we’re going that we forget to turn around and see how far we’ve already travelled.
This photograph reminds me of that.
Over the last few years I’ve experienced heartbreak, surgery, anxiety, exhaustion, moments of deep joy, and moments where I wasn’t quite sure who I was anymore.
I kept looking for the next answer, the next thing that might help.
But what I slowly realised was this…
I didn’t need to become someone different.
I needed to come back to myself.
Back to my breath.
Back to my body.
Back to the quiet wisdom that had been there all along, patiently waiting for me to listen.
The Art of Coming Home wasn’t created because I had all the answers. It was created because I finally stopped searching for them everywhere else and began listening to myself.
That’s where The Art of Coming Home was born.
Not from a business plan.
Not because I wanted to create another workshop.
But because I wanted to create the kind of space I had spent so long searching for myself.”
A space to slow down.
To breathe.
To move.
To rest.
To reconnect with themselves.
To remember who they are beneath the noise of everyday life.
Moving forward doesn’t mean becoming someone new.
It means carrying your wisdom with you.
Keeping your kindness.
Keeping your softness.
Keeping your heart open.
And trusting that every step is leading you closer to the life that feels most like home.
That’s the journey we’ll share together in The Art of Coming Home.
Not changing who you are.
Remembering her.
🤍 Louise

The Art of Coming Home
A Seven-Month Somatic Journey for Women
There comes a moment when we realise we’ve spent so much of our lives looking after everyone else that we’ve forgotten how to truly listen to ourselves.
This past year has taught me to slow down, listen to my body, honour rest and stop trying to fix everything.
Those lessons didn’t come from a book.
They came from living them.
And from that journey, The Art of Coming Home was born.
This is more than a collection of workshops. It is a seven-month journey for women — a space to pause once a month, breathe, move, reflect and reconnect with yourself, one chapter at a time.
Our Journey Together
🌿 September — Listening to Your Body
🌿 October — Coming Home to Yourself
🌿 November — The Art of Letting Go
🌿 December — The Sacred Pause
🌿 January — Move, Breathe & Flourish
🌿 February — Finding Calm Within
🌿 March — Living with Ease
Each workshop builds gently upon the last, allowing time to absorb, practise and integrate what you discover before we meet again.
Sundays, 1.00pm–3.00pm
13th September
18th October
15th November
20th December
17th January
21st February
21st March
Investment: £250
Payment can be made in full or spread over three monthly instalments.

I’d love to welcome you.

Louise 🤍

For a while now I thought I needed more time.
More hours in the day.
More energy.
More space.
What I’ve slowly realised is that I don’t need more time…
I need to protect the moments that bring me back to myself.
For me, it’s my egg chair.
A cup of tea.
The birds singing.
No rushing.
No expectations.
Just a few quiet moments to breathe and remember who I am before the world asks anything of me.
It’s become much more than a chair.
It’s where I come home to myself.
The funny thing is…
Life hasn’t suddenly become easier.
There are still challenges, worries and days that feel heavy.
But I’ve learnt that if I protect these small moments, I move through everything else with a little more grace.
Sometimes the smallest rituals become the biggest acts of self-care.
So I’m curious…
What’s your egg chair?
Where’s the place, person or ritual that helps you come home to yourself?
With love,
Lou ❤️

Sunday 26th July 10.00am – 12.00pm 💚
Take two hours just for you.
Step away from the busyness of life, soften the pace and give yourself permission to simply rest.
Our Restorative Yoga practice is a deeply nourishing, floor-based experience where every posture is fully supported with bolsters, blankets and props, allowing your body to completely relax.
As the body lets go, the breath naturally slows, the mind begins to quieten and the nervous system has the opportunity to reset, restore and rebalance.
Whether you’re feeling physically tired, emotionally drained or simply in need of some time to reconnect with yourself, this practice offers a peaceful sanctuary to pause, breathe and just be.
Suitable for all ages and all levels of experience.
£24.00
✨ Link in bio to book your place.
I would love to share this beautiful practice with you.
Much love,
Lou xx 💚

Walking into summer with an open heart. 🌾☀️
The Summer Solstice reminds us to honour the light.
Not just the bright, easy moments, but the light we find after challenge, healing and growth.
As a yoga teacher and somatic therapist, I am constantly reminded that our bodies hold wisdom. When we slow down enough to listen, they show us the way.
Today I am grateful for movement, nature, community and the opportunity to begin again.
May you take a moment today to connect with yourself and celebrate how far you’ve come.
Happy International Yoga Day. 💛
Much love

4 days ago I posted this picture on my private Instagram page.
Looking at it you see calm, sunshine and someone who looks relaxed.
But the truth?
I was exhausted.
My body was aching, my nervous system felt full, I was running on empty and had nothing to give.
And that made me reflect…
How often do we look at someone and assume they’re fine because they look well?
As a somatic therapist and movement facilitator, I speak often about listening to the body — And that’s exactly what I did.
I cancelled plans.
I left early.
I rested.
I moved gently.
I drank more water.
I said no.
I allowed myself quiet.
And I was reminded how important it is to surround yourself with the right people.
After the retreats I spent time with friends who didn’t make me feel guilty for needing rest, didn’t push me to keep going, and didn’t expect me to be involved in everything.
They simply respected my needs and gave me space to listen to my body.
What a gift that is.
Friendship at its best.
The retreats were wonderful and deeply meaningful… but restoration afterwards matters too.
Our bodies whisper long before they shout.
This week I chose to listen.
So much love

Two retreats complete 💛🌿
My heart is full.
Thank you to every single person who joined me over the last two weeks and trusted me to hold space for your retreat experience.
There has been yoga, movement, laughter, sunshine, pool yoga (which definitely should now be an official thing 😄), meaningful conversations, moments of stillness and beautiful connections formed.
One of the greatest joys for me is watching people arrive as strangers and leave with friendships, shared stories and a sense of community. Seeing people support one another, listen, laugh and nurture each other never gets old.
Thank you for allowing me to do what I love.
Now it’s my turn.
Time to rest, restore, slow down and refill my own cup before heading home.
With a grateful heart ☀️🌊💛

As one retreat comes to an end and before the next begins, I’m taking a moment to pause and feel grateful.
A week of yoga, movement, laughter, connection, sunshine, delicious food and some much-needed time to slow down.
Watching students arrive carrying the weight of everyday life and then seeing them leave a little lighter and more connected to themselves is something I never take for granted.
One of the greatest joys for me is witnessing students come together, and leave with genuine friendships and a sense of community. Sharing stories, supporting one another, listening without judgement, laughing together, and creating a space where everyone feels seen, heard and nurtured.
Thank you to this wonderful group for trusting me to be part of your journey. 💛
Now for a little rest, a deep breath, and preparation for retreat number two.

IM INVESTING IN MYSELF —not to fix anything, but to nurture my health, protect my future, and feel as strong as I can in the years ahead
As a yoga teacher, flexibility has never really been a problem 😊
But recently I decided I wanted something more for my health. I wanted to be stronger.
After having surgery for skin cancer last year and recently being diagnosed with Eagle Syndrome, I’ve been reminded how precious our health is. It has made me realise even more how important it is to listen to our bodies, take care of ourselves, and not take our health for granted.
So, 4 weeks ago, I started strength training with twice a week… and guess what?
I absolutely love it! 💪✨
I’m not doing this to change how I look. I’m doing it because I want to feel strong, capable, healthy and confident in my body for many years to come.
Yoga will always be my first love, but I’m discovering that strength training and yoga make a pretty great team.
I’m lifting weights, celebrating small wins, embracing sore muscles, and proving to myself that it’s never too late to start something new.
Here’s to being strong.
Capable, not perfect.
And doing things for ourselves because we’re worth it ❤️
Thank you Rachael for making me feel welcome, supported and stronger every week.
