Royton Town Tigers Girls FC

A strong win against Medlock today! We found ourselves a little too comfortable in the first half, but after asking the girls to raise the intensity, they really stepped it up and produced some great football. Plenty of hard work, some brilliant finishes and a brilliant defensive display.

Coaches Player: Kate F for 3 fantastic finishes and a real threat going forward all game.
Parents Player: Kate C for an impressive defensive display, strong in the challenge and making it difficult for anyone to get past her!

Well deserved girls 🐯

A really comfortable win for the Tigers today and more importantly, a fantastic team performance from start to finish. The girls worked for each other, moved the ball brilliantly and showed great energy, discipline and togetherness throughout. Every player played their part and gave everything for the team.

Coaches Player of the game went to the whole team today! A special mention to our new goalkeeper Lucy, who made her debut and started her Tigers journey with a clean sheet!
Let’s go Tigers! 🐯

We’re incredibly proud that our goalkeeper is taking the next step in her football journey after a successful trial with Halifax FC. Good luck Ivy!

That means we now have an opportunity for a goalkeeper and outfield players to join our Under 13s team.

A brilliant group of girls, supportive families and coaches who are passionate about helping every player develop. If you’re looking for a new team, get in touch!

What a season and Presentation day. 🧡🖤

From winning the Denton Youth Tournament at the start of the season to finishing with another fantastic tournament performance in Bolton, these girls have been outstanding.

Playing in a tough boys league has challenged them every week and every single player has grown and developed so much. We could not be prouder.

A huge thank you to our amazing parents for their incredible support all season and to our sponsors, Ultimate Cabinets and City Electrical Factors, for helping make it all possible. To the players: your commitment is unreal. Lastly to our coaches, we know coaching a girls team isn’t for the faint‑hearted, but you two get it spot on. Thank you for believing in them.

Well done to every player, coach and family involved.

Roll on next season! 🐯
