I'm not into cars at all but I have enjoyed my morning at Carlisle Lake District Airport for the U Drive Cars . Well worth a visit and if you only want to go for a look it's only a £2 parking charge. Super organised, super staff, super weather and super cars.

🚨 Important Travel Update – Lichfield 🚨

For anyone attending Lichfield tomorrow and Saturday, please be aware of major roadworks in the area:

The A38 past Lichfield will be completely closed from 21:00 on 27th March through to 05:00 on 8th April due to HS2 construction works.

🚧 Expect congestion, especially along the diversion route via Wood End Lane and surrounding roads.

⚠️ Additional notes:
Netherstowe Lane (from the Lichfield direction) remains closed.
Watery Lane has deep potholes and is narrow—delays likely here too.

Please allow extra travel time and plan ahead. Let’s hope it’s not as bad as expected; safe travels everyone!
