🏆 Cogan Coronation JDC Academy – Season 3 Presentation Night 🏆

​What an incredible evening celebrating our Season 3 Presentation Night! It was a true family occasion filled with a fantastic atmosphere, great music, and plenty of well-deserved recognition for all our amazing young players.

​A huge thank you to Jessica Jones for the great food, and to Cogan Coronation Club for providing us with our fabulous venue and home.
​We had two brilliant tournaments to round off the night:

🎯 Champions of Champions: Winner: Dylan Person | Runner-Up: Archie Lane

🎯 Rising Stars: Winner: Jackson Osbourne | Runner-Up: Reid Williams

​Congratulations as well to Theo, who won the £10 prize on our darts scratch card (£1 a square) by revealing the Nathan Aspinall winning square! 🎟️🎯

​We also got to celebrate Rhys Fox's birthday during the night! 🎂🎉

​Huge congratulations to all our achievers on their gradings and special awards. Our academy is truly special, packed with talent, and has such a bright future ahead! ✨

​A massive thank you to our coaches, Andrew Jones "The Peacock" and Russell Everton "No Fuss," for their continued hard work and support, and to all the parents who dedicate so much time bringing their children to each and every event—we couldn't do it without you! 👏

​What a fantastic start to the Junior Volts series last night! This was our first-ever event held at Llantwit Major RFC, and we had 11 brilliant players turn up—every single one of them played out of their skin! 👏👏

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR ALL JUNIOR VOLTS PLAYERS & PARENTS IN WALES 🚨

​Following a recent review of safeguarding procedures, please be aware of an important change for Series 1 of Junior Volts:

​🎯 Adult Supervision Required: All junior participants must be accompanied and supervised by an appropriate, responsible adult for the entire duration of the tournament at all Junior Volts venues.

​🚫 Entry Policy: Any unaccompanied players will be denied entry into the tournament.

​Why the change?

This policy ensures the safety and well-being of all junior players and supports our host venues. Venue staff are there to facilitate and run the tournament, not to supervise participants. Any concerns during an event will be raised directly with the parent or responsible adult present.

They are playing today (6:30 PM @ Arrows Darts Venue & Supplies) battling it out for the final space in the Nationals next weekend. Good luck all! 🎯

The new Volts Series starts week commencing September 14th, and we will be holding 3 Volts sessions a week!

​We are also excited to announce a venue change for our Wednesday sessions:

Wednesdays: Moving to Llantwit Major RFC at 7:00 PM! A huge thank you to Llantwit Major RFC for giving us this fantastic opportunity.

🇧🇭 SERIES 5 "ROAD TO BAHRAIN" KICKS OFF & 40 PLAYERS STRONG! 🎯

​Last Monday saw the official launch of Series 5: Road to Bahrain! The energy on the night was brilliant, with some fantastic practice routines and competitive matches setting up our new league tables.

A huge congratulations to Emily, who competed in her very first Girls Series at Arrows on Friday 21st August! She played brilliantly and hit a fantastic 62 checkout—the highest checkout of the day! We are so proud of you, Emily! 🎯💪

We are thrilled to share that Cogan Coronation JDC Academy Cogan has officially reached FULL CAPACITY at 40 PLAYERS!

​It is fantastic to see female player numbers continuing to grow within our academy. We can't wait to see how all our players progress over Series 5!
