Super picture of a lovely couple.Steve and Marilyn(Mal) Kennedy each had an hour's flight around the nothern lakes with us,this weekend.Mal originally bought the experience for aviation enthusiast Steve,to celebrate their Golden Wedding..and then she decided that since the flights were going to be over some of her most favourite parts of the country, that she would have a flight too!!.They both loved it and are seen after their flights with gyroplane on our airstrip at Berrier, with stunning Blencathra in the background.

Bit of a change from flying the mountains and valleys of the Lake District..to a low level flight along the marshes and sandbanks of the upper Solway Firth...and equally spectacular.

Well done Richard.

Visit from lovely Hannah Willis who's on holiday in the Lakes this week.Hannah, from Dungeness in Kent was so looking forward to her Gyroplane flight but the weather and winds tried to put a block on that.Undaunted,we took to the skies between showers and gusty winds for 45 minutes for Hannah to take in a couple of Lakes and castles. She absolutely loved it and is determined to return on a better day for a full Lakes oddessy...(or the Dales,or Hadrian's Wall or whereever the fancy takes her!).Thanks Hannah for being such good company.
