Lake District Gyroplanes Gyrocopter 'Air Experience' flights around the Lake District,Hadrian's Wall and Yorkshire Dales.

Lake District Gyroplanes operates from our own airfield,inside the Lake District National Park at Berrier which is just 6 miles from Keswick and Penrith and just north of Ullswater.We specilise in Gyroplane flight training and Gyrocopter Air Experience/Trial Flights for visiting members of the public,even if they have no previous flying experience - and to have the opportunity of taking control of the Gyrocopter during their flight!.This is an ultimate and spectacular experience/flying lesson for both young and old(er) alike,not to be missed.You will love it!!.

A surprise 60th birthday present to remember for Louise Harlanderson who didn't know she was going for a Gyrocopter experience flight until she arrived at Berrier.The gift was a present from her husband Richard(and four-legged 'Boris' came along to watch too.)

Fraser Campbell just sent us this pic of him being re-united with his four-legged best pal 'Bess',following his 60 minute gyroplane flight with us in July.Fraser was so inspired by his flight with us,that he is seriously considering a career move to aviation...and why not?.Fraser had 'hands-on' the controls for much of the flight and did very well.

Super picture of a lovely couple.Steve and Marilyn(Mal) Kennedy each had an hour's flight around the nothern lakes with us,this weekend.Mal originally bought the experience for aviation enthusiast Steve,to celebrate their Golden Wedding..and then she decided that since the flights were going to be over some of her most favourite parts of the country,that she would have a flight too!!.They both loved it and are seen after their flights with gyroplane on our airstrip at Berrier,with stunning Blencathra in the background.

Absolutely stunning early morning flight with Richard Metcalfe,who took all of these great pics.Richard is an ace cycle mechanic and runs RM CycleWorks in Carlisle.This is the second flight he has taken with Lake District Gyroplanes and we suspect it won't be his last...!
