Meet the teachers of Penrith Leisure Centre!

Hi, my name is Bernie, I'm the lead swimming teacher at the Penrith Leisure Centre. I fully qualified as a teacher in 1996 and have taught swimming lessons here since 1999. I have taught all ages from babies of 3 months to adults in their 80's. I love a challenge and find my job so rewarding, especially when I can help people overcome their fears of the water. Learning to swim is such an important skill to have 🏊‍♂️💦

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to work at the Café in Penrith Leisure Centre.

As a Catering Assistant you will be assisting in delivering excellent customer service within the café including but not limited to cleaning and maintenance, preparation of areas and equipment as appropriate, maintaining a safe environment throughout. Catering Assistants are expected to complete all relevant Food Hygiene certification, operational checklists and food safety check documents.

The position is for a flexible contract which will include evenings, weekends and holiday cover.
