We love competitive , we love enjoying your horse on a walk hack and chatting to your friends , we love not riding today because you just need to groom your horse and smell that horsey smell, we love those knowing very little yet but eager to learn , we love those with years of experience showing their skills, we love getting your first horse and all the excitement that comes, we love caring for your golden oldie who owes you nothing and you owe the world , we love your horses and we love your journey whatever that may be and we are here to respect you and support you because every type of horse and rider makes this industry go round and there’s only one question that matters .. is your horse happy and are you happy ?

Fantastic clinic this weekend in the tropical bank holiday weekend weather ! Thanks to all who came. Horses were kept cool in the outdoor shower and all on the free refills drinks package and sun cream spa at this all inclusive horse hotel ! Never mind dogs it’s a Horse’s life here !

There are increased cases of Equine Influenza in the UK and so we have shared below the British Dressage advice on travelling and competing with your horse . Please note that any horses and riders attending at Kilgraston for clinics, training or any reason must be vaccinated against equine flu. Please bring your passports with you so that we can check vaccination records if required. You may notice some additional measures such as disinfectant being used and we would ask that if you are a visitor to the yard that you try to keep a four metre distance from our resident horses and do not allow your horse to touch other horses during your visit. These measures are in place to protect eveyone and minimise the risk of infection and we know that you will all work together and with us to try and keep our horses healthy and safe.

Equine Influenza update As a result of the increase in reported cases of equine influenza, the Equine Infectious Diseases Action Group has recommended that there needs to be a period of increased vigilance and monitoring to help prevent a further spread of the disease.

One space is now available for dressage/flatwork schooling livery with our fabulous manager trainer Danielle Loseby at Kilgraston. Dani rides to PSG level with fifteen years experience in coaching and training and is an integral part of the training team at Kilgraston who has produced numerous successful dressage horses and trained riders to national level. As part of our ongoing maintenance of the facilities and to keep them in the best possible condition the arena surface was refreshed and lazer levelled today by the wonderful Marshall Excavations . Always a professional service they do the job exactly as they say they will, on time no mess and with excellent knowledge of specific equestrian requirements.
