Check out our beautiful Mane event summer club hoodies 😍.
One of our wonderful clubbers asked if they could read a story to velvet . The books we have are focused around wellbeing . So here we have velvet hearing the story “you’re a star” all about self -esteem .
It’s fair to say velvet 100% is a star and she was very interested in listening to the story being read to her 🦄❤️

Due to on going road closure on the A9 after a car accident earlier today . Bankfoot is in grid lock with traffic in every direction . Please don’t stress if you are late or not going to make it . We totally understand ❤️
I can’t even get my car to the field . Iv had to walk from the other side of bankfoot 🥵

Wow that came around fast .
Just letting everyone know that there will be no session on Saturday due to it being Perth show .
Minds and Manes have sponsored the inhand highland pony competition and we are down supporting and helping our friends Perthshire Trekking Centre with their competition team.
I will be in contact with everyone to let them know ❤️
Fingers crossed for some nice weather Friday Saturday , this rain will be making the ground prime condition as long as it doesn’t continue raining for a prolonged time 😍

Today, I was asked if we offer "Equine Therapy."
This really got me thinking about how often the word "therapy" is used in our industry. You see it everywhere now, including terms like "therapy ponies." It brought to light just how easily the lines get blurred.
This is something we currently do not do.
I wanted to take a moment to be completely transparent about why we do not use that word right now, and explain the massive difference between clinical therapy and the wellbeing support we offer.
True "Equine Therapy" is a formal, medical intervention. According to professional standard bodies—like the Equine Assisted Services Partnership (EASP) and major psychological associations—for any session to legally and ethically be called "therapy," a qualified, licensed mental health professional or counselor must be onsite leading the session. A pony, as wonderful as they are, cannot be a therapist on its own. Therapy involves a clinician treating specific psychological conditions, trauma, or mental health disorders.Because we do not have a licensed psychologist or clinical counselor on our team right now, we do not offer therapy.
Instead, we currently offer Wellbeing Supporting People Through Ponies and Nature. There is a beautiful, distinct difference here.
Our current sessions are about grounding, lowering stress, building confidence, and finding peace through a natural connection with our ponies and the environment.
We leverage the powerful, natural benefits of the human-animal bond to support your emotional health in a safe, non-clinical way.
Exciting news for our future!Because we want to safely support our community in every way possible, we will be having a qualified therapist joining our team in the near future. Once they are officially onboard, we will be able to expand our services to include true, clinical equine-assisted therapy sessions alongside our regular wellbeing programs.
We love what we do, and we believe that honesty, education, and professional boundaries are a huge part of creating a safe space for everyone who visits us. Watch this space for updates on when our therapy sessions will launch!

Turns out the true pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is actually 3 adorable ponies that have 0 idea of the beauty above them but instead eating the lush green grass 🌈🦄🤣.
Fantastic find and photography skills from the wonderful Nicola 🥰

Biggest problem with having 3 Shetlands the same colour is when 2 are having a nap and trying to guess who is who, without waking them 🤣🤣
Can anyone guess who were having an early morning nap ?
