Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, due to staff unavailability, we have been forced to make the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Jeanfield Camp. (Friday 10th July)

As always, the safety and wellbeing of everyone attending is our number one priority. Unfortunately, without enough coaches available, we are unable to maintain the correct coach-to-child ratio, meaning it would not be safe for us to run the camp.

We completely understand how frustrating and disappointing this is, and we genuinely sympathise with everyone who has made plans around the camp. This is absolutely not a decision we ever wanted to make, but unfortunately it is completely unavoidable.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and really appreciate your understanding and continued support.

If you have any questions, as always please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

⚽The Jeanfield Swifts Holiday Camp on Tuesday 7 July will go ahead as planned. ⚽

As a reminder, this is a limited space camp and all spaces have been allocated already. We look forward to seeing the children tomorrow morning!

⚠️ Jeanfield Camp Cancellation – Today ⚠️

Unfortunately, due to staff illness, today’s Jeanfield camp has been cancelled.

We completely understand that this is far from ideal, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. However, the safety and wellbeing of all the children is always our top priority. Due to staff illness, we are no longer able to meet the required staff-to-child ratios, meaning today’s camp cannot safely go ahead.

We are truly sorry for the short notice, but this is a situation that could not have been avoided. We really appreciate your understanding and patience.

We will provide an update on tomorrow’s camp and the rest of the week’s sessions as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued support.

U20s new Team Manager appointment ✍🏻

Really excited to announce the appointment of Steve Milliken as Team Manager for our U20s 👏👏

Steve is a great addition to the team, bringing a wealth of experience and will help Greg and the coaching staff to drive the team forward.

Speaking with Steve earlier he commented, “I’m absolutely delighted to be returning to Jeanfield as the new U20s Manager.

Football has been a huge part of my life, with a playing career spanning over 20 years. After progressing from youth football at 17yr old into the Northern Irish League, I was fortunate enough to play in four different countries, gaining invaluable experiences both on and off the pitch.

It’s fantastic to be back at the club. I previously enjoyed great success coaching one of the club’s youth teams before continuing my coaching journey with Luncarty Amateurs and St John’s.

I’m really excited to work alongside the excellent coaching team already in place and to work closely with Greg in developing this talented U20s squad. Our aim is to provide a positive, challenging environment where young players can develop, improve, and earn the opportunity to step up into Jason’s first-team squad through close collaboration across the club.

I can’t wait to get started, and help continue the fantastic work being done at Jeanfield”.

U20s new Head Coach Appointment ✍🏻

We are excited to announce the appointment of Greg Cruickshank as Head Coach of our U20s 👏👏

Greg is no stranger to Jeanfield having had a couple of previous spells coaching our U20s & our 06s, gained experience coaching at Blairgowrie Juniors before becoming manager of Blairgowrie’s woman’s team and more recently Greg has been assistant coach with Alloa Pro Youth U17s & U19s.

Greg is highly qualified, holds his UEFA B License, and is keen to bring experiences gained to date to help develop the squad and work closely with Jason and our Jeanfield Swifts First Team to create a robust pathway for the future.

I’m sure you will all join me in welcoming Greg back into the fold 👍
