For the second time in 2 weeks Chesterfield have called tomorrow’s game off. Sadly with only 24 hours notice we have been unable to find an alternate fixture.

18 very disappointed players will have the weekend off and we will go again next week.

Man of Steel

Following our win at Sherwood last weekend the following players were awarded points:

Luke Whitby - a true captains performance with some lovely runs and tries.

Henry Hobson - yet again Henry got through a ridiculous amount of work on both sides of the ball.

Brandon Whittaker - our debutant halfback put in a brilliant tactical kicking display.

NEXT UP

This Saturday we travel north to play Chesterfield in an exciting encounter.

The boys have trained well on Tuesday and have one final session before the weekend, tomorrow at 19:00 at Peterborough RUFC. All new players welcome.

FULL TIME

The lads win again at Sherwood, another fantastic display with a much improved defensive performance. More importantly today we welcomed another 5 debutants to the PRLFC family. We go again next week.

Coach Joe said: ‘Firstly, thanks to Sherwood for hosting us again after Chesterfield were unable to fulfil our fixture.

I’ve been asking the lads to show me what they can do without the ball all season and today they did that and then some.’

No game this weekend but the lads return to action next week with an exciting home fixture against Chesterfield Forgers!

A fantastic result under a lot of adversity, with plenty of injuries and unavailability, leading to us playing 60 mins with 12 men, the lads show what type of team they are.
