As another season comes to an end for NXT GEN FC DEVS, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a fantastic year of development, learning and growth.
From the first session to the final whistle, the progress made by every player has been incredible to see. Not only in their football ability, but in their confidence, teamwork, attitude and understanding of the game.
We’re proud to provide an environment where young players can develop, enjoy their football and build friendships whilst learning important values that go beyond the pitch.
A huge thank you to all of our parents for your support, commitment and trust throughout the season. Your support plays a huge part in everything we do.
As we look ahead to next season, we’re excited to continue building and developing the next generation of players.
Limited spaces will be available for new players looking to join NXT GEN FC DEVS.

Developing players on and off the pitch

NXT GEN FC under 9s are competing in the Play on the Pitch Junior Tournament at the POSH home ground this Sunday 17th May.
The team are very excited to play on the pitch and the NXT GEN FC family know they will go out there and do their best but most importantly enjoy the experience.
Why not come along on Sunday and support the team and watch some local sides play. £5 per adults and under 18s are free. Tickets can be purchased on the day from the POSH stadium between 8 and 10am only.

NXT GEN FC under 9s
Due to our opponents pulling out this weekend we had a friendly against a local team and what a game it was. It had all the spectators on the toes and easily could have been multiple goals. Great way to wrap up the season and start our friendly and tournament journey.

NXT GEN FC - Player of the match
You might be forgiven for thinking I've reused last week's picture but no this kid is a serious little player. He has been player of the match for 2 weeks in a row and rightly so. Every 1v1 he won. He was all over the pitch and doing tackles well beyond his age

NXT GEN FC - Player of the Match
Our Under 9s player of the match today was a wizard on the ball. The ball stuck to his feet like Velcro. Darting in and out using his strength and vision. His dribbling was NXT level and we think he has found his new position.

NXT GEN FC under 9s
What a game today for our Under 9s. These guys were on fire.
Due to a poorly keeper our players Alessia and Charlie stepped up to take the gloves and what an job they did from one hand saves to full dives in the ball.
The team as a whole just clicked, everyone played their part, looked for the passes and gave it their all and the added bonus the sun was out for a change.
