We dont know much about our opponents this Sunday but as always we'll just concentrate on doing us⚽️💪

A huge congratulations to our very own Corbin Lyddiatt and Michael Balroop for making there competitive debuts yesterday morning with the Argyle post-16 Education in an empathetic 8-1 victory👏👏

After exiting every cup competition at the first hurdle last season, the Sporting lads had been bang up for writing that wrong this season💪

The first half was a fiercely contested affair which saw penalty shouts waved away for us and some very questionable raises of the linesman's flag bringing alot of our attacks to a frustrating halt🙄

Halftime 0-0

The message was clear at halftime🗣
Get control of the middle of the park and we'll get on top and for our attackers to take something off of there runs too so there was no doubts in us being onside.

The break through would come on 54 minutes⚽️
A delicately lofted ball over the oppositions backline would get 16 year old fullback Corbin Lyddiatt his first assist in mens football not before, yep you've guessed it... up went the flag, after Draper had ran past there whole back line🙄 this time the referee rightfully over ruled the linesman.

Then came the onslaught against a team that had put so much in for 55 minutes that they were starting to evidently tire, 2-0, 3-0, 4-0 in the space of nine minutes saw Draper grab his hatrick and a goal for midfield engine Steve Hughes with another sublime finish on the half volley🔥

4-1 consolation goal for Ocean City FC on 72 minutes taking away a clean sheet😫

Asher Flude would grab our fifth goal, after being played in by Draper who was now playing CM, he would cut in, open up his body and caress the ball into the bottom corner⚽️

The game was then capped off with 16 year old striker Archie Gray grabbing our sixth goal and his first goal in mens football with a fantastic cultured finish⚽️

Another master class of a performance from our Robbo who really has been making up for the time he lost through injury by continuing to get back to his very best👏👏

It's Sunday challenge cup, 1st round action tomorrow morning🏆
We played Ocean City FC in pre-season coming away 3-1 winners but we know that there team will look very different this time around so we are going to have to be at our very best from start to finish if we are to progress through to the next round⚽️

After being unfortunate not to get anything from our opening two league games it was important to stay focused on what we do well as a team and continue to do the right things in the manner that brought us success last season👌

1-0⚽️ 14 minutes
An air of fortune to our opening goal but kudos to Ben Walmsley for keeping the ball alive for marksman Draper to react quickest and bravest to head home⚽️

2-0⚽️ 69 minutes
Admiral Macbride came out lively in the second half but never really troubled our Dutts whilst we continued to defend superbly then on the break, Ricey would smash home a rebound after the GK had pulled off a save to deny Draper his second

Then a moment of madness for the opposition when two of there players were show straight red cards for fighting each other🟥

This allowed allowed the gaffer to waste no time in bringing his remaining subs on including a debut for 16 year old striker Archie Gray💪

3-0⚽️ 82 minutes
Unlucky not to get a goal on his debut from a few opportunities, big Archie G had to settle for just an assist this time out for Asher Flude who as always was in the right place at the right time to poke home

4-0⚽️ 85 minutes
Asher Flude would this time turn provider with a well executed through ball to club stalwart Steve Hughes to expertly slot the ball past the on rushing GK

An absolute rock at the back on Sunday, winning everything in the air, on the deck aswell as driving into midfield to get us up the pitch quickly💪

Previous encounters between us and Admiral MacBride 1st's have been close so potentially another Sunday league battle in store for both teams💪

A tight, well contested game that unfortunately for us went in the favour of our visitors🤝

No panicking being done here at Sporting tho, defensively were sound we just need to create more and be more clinical in the final third by taking our chances⚽️
