🚨 URGENT PRODUCT SAFETY RECALL – APEKS XL4, XL4+ & OCEA SECOND STAGES / OCTOPUS 🚨
IMPORTANT: Please read and share.

HEAD Watersports has issued an official safety recall affecting selected Apeks XL4, XL4+ and Ocea regulator second stages and octopus manufactured between April 2025 and April 2026.

⚠️ Why has the product been recalled?
A manufacturing defect has been identified in some second-stage regulators. At depths greater than 45 metres, the regulator may restrict the flow of breathing gas, potentially resulting in an inadequate air supply.

✅ Is your regulator affected?
Your regulator may be affected if:
• It is an Apeks XL4, XL4+ or Ocea regulator or second stage.
• It was manufactured between April 2025 and April 2026.
• The serial number falls between 250402212 to 260402893, inclusive.

The serial number is laser-marked on the body of the second-stage regulator.

❗What should you do?
If your regulator falls within the affected serial number range:
🛑 STOP USING IT IMMEDIATELY.

Please return it to us at Fins Scuba, where we will arrange for it to be inspected and, if required, repaired free of charge in accordance with the manufacturer's recall procedure.

✅ If your serial number falls outside the affected range, you may continue using your regulator.

❓Can't verify your serial number?
If you are unable to confirm your serial number, do not use the regulator until it has been inspected and verified.

If you purchased one of these regulators or you're unsure whether your regulator is affected, please contact us as soon as possible. We're happy to check your serial number and arrange the inspection if required.
There is no charge for the inspection or any recall repairs.
