🇮🇲 Caroline Whitehead - Commonwealth Games Update

Everyone at Esselle Bowling is incredibly proud to see Caroline Whitehead representing Team Isle of Man - Commonwealth Games at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Competing against some of the world's best indoor bowlers, Caroline has already faced a series of tough matches in both the Women's Pairs and Women's Singles competitions.

Alongside her pairs partner, Paula Garrett, Caroline has taken on strong opposition from Guernsey, Zambia, Australia and Northern Ireland, producing some closely fought performances throughout the group stages. She has also begun her Women's Singles campaign, opening against Malaysia's world number one, Emma Firyana Saroji – a formidable challenge at this level of competition.

Representing your country on the Commonwealth stage is an incredible achievement in itself, and everyone at Esselle Bowling is cheering Caroline on as she continues her Games journey.

We are delighted and incredibly proud to announce that Caroline Whitehead, from Douglas, who has attended and supported many of our Bowling holidays has been selected and will be representing Team Isle of Man - Commonwealth Games at this years Commonwealth games in Glasgow taking part later this month!

Caroline will be taking part in the Ladies Singles and Pairs Indoor Bowling competitions!
