We offer mentoring, sports interventions, workshops and family support. At N3W ANGLE we are driven by a simple commitment to create a physical and emotional difference within the community. Through a lived-experience perspective we offer:

Assemblies: Presentations on knife crime, youth violence, and cyber safety, debunking myths and media glamorisation.

1:1 Mentoring: Personalised support for at-risk youth, addressing lifestyle choices through relatable mentoring. Critical Workshops: Interactive sessions to increase awareness of destructive choices and their consequences. Sport Intervention Programme: Engaging students through sports to build self-discipline, resilience, and decision-making skills. Professional & Parent Workshops: Training to equip adults with tools to support youth against exploitation and violence. We partner with schools, academy trusts, local authorities, and organisations to deliver tiered assemblies, workshops, and programmes for young people aged 8-25.

✨ We’re incredibly proud to announce that we are officially finalists for the BBC Make a Difference Awards ✨

Earlier today, we were invited to BBC Radio Berkshire to talk about how New Angle started, our journey so far and the work we’ve been doing in the community since day one.

To be recognised for the work we’ve been doing in our community is something we’re incredibly proud of and we’re so grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.

Being recognised in this way means so much to us and is a real reflection of the amazing people who make New Angle what it is.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in us, supported our work and helped us get to this point.

From being thrown out of mainstream school and almost being given up on, to securing an apprenticeship and now working at a college, what an incredible journey this young person has been on.

It’s amazing to see how far he has come when given the right opportunity, support and belief. His journey is a powerful reminder that sometimes young people simply need someone to see their potential and give them a chance.

A huge credit to the college for recognising that potential and opening the door to a brighter future. It’s fantastic to see him thriving and building a path for himself.

A massive thank you to Start Confident First Aid for visiting the team and taking us through such a valuable and important first aid course!

We covered a range of essential topics, including CPR, treating wounds and burns, and what to do in emergency situations.

We believe it’s incredibly important to have this knowledge and confidence when working in the community, so that we can provide support and assistance to those who may need it.

Thank you again for an informative and practical session we really appreciate your time and expertise!

It’s been great to see young people taking advantage of the FREE opportunity to stay active, build confidence, socialise, make new friends and, most importantly, have a positive place to spend their time and keep off the streets 🥊

One of our mentees recently showed us a great app that has been helping them reduce their self-harm.

Unfortunately, we’ve noticed an increase in the number of young people we work with who have experienced self-harm at some point in their lives, for a wide range of reasons.

In the UK, self-harm among young people is a serious and growing concern. Recent research indicates that 31.7% of young women and 15.4% of young men aged 16–24 have self-harmed at least once in their lifetime.

What’s particularly concerning is that the vast majority of young people who self-harm do not go on to seek medical support.

This highlights how important it is that young people have access to safe, accessible and non-judgemental sources of support.
