🏉 FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON! 🏉
What a way to kick off the season! The competition was fierce from the first whistle right through to the final minute, with the lads working incredibly hard throughout. 💪

A hard-fought 26–29 loss, with the final score decided by a penalty goal in the final minute.

The first game of the season always gives us plenty of areas to work on and improve, but that’s exactly what we’ll do. We’ll take the lessons from today, keep putting in the work, and come back stronger.

A big well done to all the lads for the effort and commitment shown throughout!

The Rosyth Sharks kick off the season on the road as we make the trip to Grangemouth Rugby Club!

The lads have been putting in the hard work throughout preseason, plenty of tough sessions, hard graft and preparation behind the scenes.
Now it’s time to put all that work into action and show what we’ve been working towards!

Whenever these two sides meet, you know you’re in for a competitive battle, and this one promises to be no different!

So get along to Grangemouth, get behind the Sharks and make some noise!

The senior squad have been putting in the work throughout pre-season, pushing themselves every step of the way. This week, we took training to the beach to ramp up the intensity—and safe to say it was a huge hit!

Running on sand is no joke, but the team embraced every second, finishing the session the best way possible… with a well-earned dip in the sea! 🌊💪

Pre-season is all about working hard, challenging ourselves, building team spirit, and enjoying the journey together.

🏉 Rosyth Sharks RFC – Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 🏉

The Rosyth Sharks RFC Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Friday 17 July 2026 at 6:30pm at Rosyth Rugby Club.

The AGM is an important opportunity for members to hear about the club’s progress, help shape its future, and elect the committee for the coming year.

Committee Nominations

Nominations are now open for all committee roles. If you wish to stand for a position, you must be:

✅ An Ordinary Senior Member of the club
✅ Proposed by an Ordinary Senior Member
✅ Seconded by an Ordinary Senior Member

A nomination sheet will be available in the clubhouse for members wishing to put themselves forward for a committee position.

If you are interested in a role but would like more information about the responsibilities involved, please reach out to Dalton Garner, who will be happy to discuss the positions and answer any questions you may have.
