🏉 Rosyth Sharks RFC – Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 🏉

The Rosyth Sharks RFC Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Friday 17 July 2026 at 6:30pm at Rosyth Rugby Club.

The AGM is an important opportunity for members to hear about the club’s progress, help shape its future, and elect the committee for the coming year.

Committee Nominations

Nominations are now open for all committee roles. If you wish to stand for a position, you must be:

✅ An Ordinary Senior Member of the club
✅ Proposed by an Ordinary Senior Member
✅ Seconded by an Ordinary Senior Member

A nomination sheet will be available in the clubhouse for members wishing to put themselves forward for a committee position.

If you are interested in a role but would like more information about the responsibilities involved, please reach out to Dalton Garner, who will be happy to discuss the positions and answer any questions you may have.

🏉 2026 Memorial Tournament Breakdown – Senior Matches 🏉

Lastly, we finished off the rugby with our senior matches, bringing together players from Rosyth Sharks, Dunfermline RFC, a selection of The Port Bellies, and a few players from Hyndland Rugby.

It was great to see plenty of competition on the pitch, fantastic support from the sidelines, and a brilliant atmosphere all round — the perfect way to round off a full day of rugby. And what a gorgeous day for it too! ☀️🏉

The celebrations then continued with the annual presentation, BBQ, and live music in the sunshine, giving everyone the chance to relax and enjoy the evening together. 🎶🌭🍻

Once again, thank you to everyone who came along, took part, volunteered, and supported the tournament throughout the day. We hope to see you all again next year! ❤️🙌

🏉 2026 Memorial Tournament Breakdown – Over 35s Match 🏉

Next up was our always-entertaining Over 35s match, bringing together Lasswade RFC Over 35s and The Port Bellies for another brilliant occasion.

This was the first year Lasswade RFC have joined us for the tournament, so a huge thank you for coming along — we hope to see you back again next year! 🙌

This match has always been about more than just rugby. It’s about having a laugh, remembering the greater cause behind the tournament, and enjoying the sport in a friendly and welcoming environment — exactly how rugby should be. ❤️🏉

As always, the game ended with smiles, celebrations, and great memories all round.

🏉 2026 Memorial Tournament Breakdown – Youth Festival 🏉

What a way to kick off this year’s Memorial Tournament!

First up was our fantastic Youth Festival, bringing local teams together for a brilliant day focused on getting everyone involved, making memories, and celebrating the game.

A huge thank you to Dunfermline Rugby Football Club and Glenrothes Rugby Club for bringing their youth teams along and helping make the day extra special. It was amazing to see so many young players enjoying themselves, showing great teamwork, and getting stuck in with big smiles all round.

Off the pitch, the fun kept going with stalls, bouncy castles, and a BBQ — making it a full day of entertainment for players, families, and supporters alike. 🌭🎈☀️

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, and helped create such a brilliant atmosphere. 💙❤️

Yesterday’s Memorial Tournament 2026 was everything we hoped it would be and more ❤️

A massive THANK YOU to every single person who came along and showed their support. You all made this day exactly what it’s all about! remembering those we sorely miss, while bringing people together through friendship, rugby, laughter and community.
