Rugby TKD is a Taekwon-do school teaching ITF Taekwon-do and self-defence.

Some of our younger students receiving their “Black Belt Attitude” award certificates and medals from Mr Stanley, recognising their determination to follow the tenets of TKD at home and at school, as well as in the dojang.
Dennis, Lily, Arthur and Lucas, have been working on their Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Indomitable Spirit and Self Control and the team at Rugby TKD, in conjunction with the students’ parents, wanted to reward their efforts.

Rugby TKD's 5-year milestone was celebrated in style with a fantastic BBQ for students and their families at the breathtaking May Blossom Farm, Rugby (check out their FB page and website)! It was an unforgettable afternoon filled with delicious food, amazing company, and a fabulous venue!

Today, we honor the memory of General Choi Hong Hi (9 November 1918 – 15 June 2002), the Founder of Taekwon-Do.
With gratitude and respect, we remember the man who gave the world this martial art and whose legacy continues to inspire generations of practitioners worldwide.
As one Taekwon-Do family, we proudly carry his vision forward.

Happy Birthday to Taekwon-Do Name!
On 11 April 1955, General Choi Hong Hi officially decided on the name of his newly created martial art and called it Taekwon-Do.
Today, we celebrate not only the birth of a name, but the beginning of a global movement that continues to inspire millions around the world.
Let us all honor the legacy of General Choi Hong Hi by giving our very best in training, teaching, and living according to the principles of Taekwon-Do every single day.
Together, we carry forward the vision of our Founder and strengthen the unity of the worldwide ITF Family.
