The Air Ambulance clothing bank is right here at Dollman Farm, tucked behind the Co-op, and it's open 24 hours a day. Clothes, shoes or accessories, it all goes towards funding Air Ambulance missions.

It closes on 3rd October at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum and honestly it is well worth a visit. The story behind Houlton is fascinating and it's all there to see!

It’s home to all sorts throughout the week, from exercise classes and local groups to crafts, coffee mornings and get-togethers.

Steve Jones from the Rugby Amateur Transmitting Society knows just how important Rugby Radio Station was in the history of radio. 📡

As Steve explains, its size, power and ability to transmit around the world made it a real landmark, and a story that still holds its place in radio history today.

As we continue to mark 100 years of Rugby Radio, it’s been great to hear from people like Steve who can help bring that history to life.

And there’s still more to come in 2027, as we mark 100 years since the first transatlantic broadcast!

The Houlton Over 50s group meets regularly at The Barn for a coffee, a chat and a chance to catch up with others from around the community. But this isn't all! The group also enjoys a variety of social events, giving you plenty of opportunities to meet new people and discover more of what our local area has to offer.

Their next get-together is on Saturday 26th September, from 10:30am–12pm at The Barn!

2027 will mark 100 years since the first transatlantic broadcast, an important milestone for Houlton and the wider Rugby community as the transmission was made right here from Rugby Radio Station📡

We’re so proud to have so many people behind the upcoming celebrations, including the Mayor of Rugby, who recently joined us here at Houlton.

As Mayor of Rugby says, sometimes the best way to get a feel for Houlton is simply to come along, have a walk around and see it for yourself.

We’re continuing our work with OurJay Foundation to help make Houlton a Heart Safe community. ❤️

There are already 5 community-accessible defibrillators across Houlton, with a sixth now being planned. As Houlton grows, we’ll continue working together to make sure lifesaving equipment is within easy reach across the community.

It’s a really important partnership and one we’re very proud to be part of!
