🌟 End of Season Sporting Sunday 🌟

What an absolutely brilliant day! ☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our End of Season Sporting Sunday — the sun came out, the atmosphere was electric, and smiles were everywhere! Whether you were battling it out on the football pitch, taking part in the netball friendly, or watching the legendary Parents v Kids cricket (mainly dads with a few Mums and Grandads thrown in for good measure! 🏏😄), it was a day to remember.

A massive shout out to the people who made it all possible behind the scenes:

⚽ Terry & the volunteers — keeping everyone refreshed on the bar
🔥 Susan, Ed & the Mayman family — smashing it on the BBQ and arranging the netball
🚗 Glen — keeping everything running smoothly in the car park

And a huge thank you to our wonderful local clubs for getting involved and bringing the competitive spirit! 🏆

Don’t forget our Sporting Sunday tomorrow at the Abbots Bromley Sports Association - ABSA Grounds. Football games from 10.30 till 2pm. Netball for boys and girls to join in 12.30 till 1.30. Cricket for parents and kids 2 till 4. Breakfast baps in the morning, BBQ from 12 till 3. Bar open!

We are pleased to be able to host the below Charity Cricket Match at ABSA tomorrow. Spectators are welcome there will be food and drinks served and music will be on after the cricket match. Show your support and enjoy a fantastic afternoon/evening.

Today is Presidents Day down at ABSA - join us to watch the teams compete, enjoy a beverage at the bar and make the most of our beautiful grounds, village and cricket teams.

The ABSA Groundkeeping team might want to look away now! (All balls were retrieved and packed away!) 😆 Another fantastic mini festival party for Jenson for his 5th bday down at the grounds yesterday - wow what a lucky boy.

All Stars & Under 11's Cricket has been called off tonight on account of the heat - however Terry will still have the bar open serving refreshments if anyone still wants a Friday social. The MUGA court will be open too if it cools off any and the kids want a kick about.
