👧⚽ HOW OUR GIRLS STARTED THE SEASON! 🔴🔵
Two weeks into the 2026/27 season and our Girls section is already showing quality, determination and fantastic team spirit. From first-ever competitive games and new formats to debuts and some brilliant performances, there’s so much to build on! 💙
📅 WEEK 1 | 12/09
🔵 U8s – A brilliant opening performance with some fantastic football on display.
🔵 U9s – A difficult first half, but a much stronger second-half performance showed great character and resilience.
🔵 U11 Blues – A confident opening game full of energy, teamwork and promising attacking football.
⭐ GOM: Elissia
⚪ U11 Whites – The team’s first-ever match! Plenty to like on the ball and lots to build on as this new group develops.
⭐ GOM: Lily & Sophia
🍷 U11 Clarets – Excellent use of space, decision-making and defensive teamwork in a really impressive opening performance.
⭐ GOM: Noélie & Liv
🍷 U12 Clarets – First experience of 9v9 and the girls adapted brilliantly, showing great effort and plenty of positives.
⭐ POTM: Holly Fox
🔵 U13 Blues | 4–0 vs Barnet Nightingales – A fantastic start, growing in confidence throughout and producing some excellent attacking football.
⭐ GOM: Elsie, Justeen, Arya & Miriam
🔴 U13 Reds | 1–1 vs Hoddesdon – Short on numbers but huge on determination! A superb defensive effort and real fighting spirit.
⭐ GOM: Carlin
🍷 U13 Clarets | 0–3 vs Garston Ladies Panthers – The scoreline didn’t reflect a performance full of possession, chances and some genuinely lovely football.
⭐ GOM: Sienna
🍷 U14 Clarets | 3–5 vs Goffs Oak – A hugely encouraging first 11v11 game in Division 1, with three debuts and a brilliant end-to-end contest.
🍷 U15 Clarets | 1–0 vs Panshanger – An outstanding display of character, playing the entire match with 10 players and showing incredible team spirit.
⭐ GOM: Chloe
🔵 U16 Blues | 0–5 vs Enfield – Injuries made it incredibly difficult, but the girls never stopped competing and showed fantastic togetherness until the end.
⭐ GOM: Naz
🍷 U16 Clarets | 2–1 vs Hertford Town – Some excellent football, plenty of chances and a strong all-round team performance.
⭐ GOM: Violet
⚪ U18 Whites | 1–0 vs Hitchin Belles – A strong second-half performance and two impressive club debuts made for a very positive start.
⭐ POM: Amy | Captain’s POM: Mia
🍷 U18 Clarets | 5–0 vs Harpenden – A superb opening display with high pressing, quick football and plenty of attacking quality.
⭐ GOM: Grace
📅 WEEK 2 | 19/09
🔵 U10 Blues – A competitive local derby with several Ruislip debuts. The girls grew into the game brilliantly and showed great attitude.
⭐ GOM: Elsie
🔵 U11 Blues – Strong defending, lovely midfield combinations and another encouraging team performance.
⭐ GOM: Eva
⚪ U11 Whites – Fantastic unity despite late squad changes, with great pressing, positional discipline and plenty of chances created.
⭐ GOM: Jorgiana
🍷 U11 Clarets – A much sharper second half with free-flowing football, great recovery runs and another excellent defensive display.
⭐ GOM: Poppy & Esme
🍷 U12 Clarets – Another big step forward in 9v9. Determination, resilience and some excellent individual performances throughout.
⭐ POTM: Salma
🍷 U13 Clarets | 6–3 vs Goffs Oak Ladies – A stunning response from the girls with fantastic team football and attacking confidence.
⭐ GOM: Rahiima – hat-trick & two assists! 🔥
🔴 U13 Reds | 9–0 vs Ickenham Youth – A commanding team display with excellent interplay and a solid defensive performance.
⭐ GOM: Ariana
🔵 U14 Blues | 0–8 vs Bury Rangers – A difficult afternoon with a small squad, but the girls kept battling until the final whistle.
⭐ POM: Emma
⚪ U14 Whites | 1–6 vs St Joes – Eight new players, a first competitive match for many and a first taste of 11v11. Lots learned and plenty to build on.
🍷 U14 Clarets | 1–3 vs Harpenden – Another close contest with some very good football. The girls have shown plenty of promise in their first two Division 1 games.
🍷 U15 Clarets | 1–2 vs Wealdstone – A frustrating result, but another performance full of effort and good football.
⭐ GOM: Megan
🔵 U15 Blues | 1–0 vs Gunnersbury Eagles – Incredible defensive spirit and teamwork in their first game of the season, plus three fantastic debuts.
⭐ GOM: Arshia
⚪ U18 Whites | 2–2 vs Tring Athletic – A quality, competitive game with the girls battling brilliantly and adapting to players being out of position.
⭐ POM: Neve | Captain’s POM: Mya
🍷 U18 Clarets | 5–1 vs Watford – A magnificent second-half display with the girls taking control and producing some excellent football.
⭐ GOM: Beth & Eden
