Shin Sekai Ju-Jitsu

Great session at the Park Street dojo last night. Always a pleasure to have visitors from Barnet Ju Jitsu. Great to see Graham back on the mats and well done Oliver, smashing it 👊🏻

Then and now. Three years ago we started our first kids club. To begin with Alice and Louie were our only students. This morning at the Bricket Wood Cadets club ( due to the high level of kids away on holiday) it was just the four of us once more. Great students 👊🏻

Fantastic grading this morning at our Colney Heath Dojo. Anyone who chooses Japanese Ju Jitsu as their art has my respect. In my opinion one of the most physical and technical martial arts to master. Especially impressed with our ladies, Wiesia and Ella who this morning proved that technical ability beats size and strength. As always, really proud of the standard of our club 💪🏻👊🏻

Thank you to everyone who supported my 60th birthday challenge. It was hot work but I made it through the 60 throws and we raised a good few quid for Hertfordshire Mind, a great charity. Big thanks to my uke's who did a great job putting me under pressure 👊🏻

On the 26th of May, to mark my 60th, I will be attempting 60 consecutive throws/takedowns Randori style (neutralising attack then executing a throw/takedown). In support of Hertfordshire Mind, a great local charity.
