Caddying at The Masters is an incredible achievement and one that should be treasured, but rest assured that a significant amount of work and research is required before stepping on to the first tee.
The benefit is that it is the same golf course year in, year out. Sure, there are changes to run off areas, trees or tee boxes, but generally, the course remains similar to previous years.
As a result, caddies who have been there before are usually more than happy to pass on words (or books in this case) of wisdom to help you out on what can be an incredibly difficult place to caddie at.
