I have to share this. 🌟

One of my client's celebrations this week made me feel so so happy and reminded me that guiding women to transform their lives is the best job in the world.

After just 3 sessions together, DY one of my clients told me she can already see a confidence shift in herself.

3 sessions. Let that sink in.

Here's what happened.

She never liked networking with people because fear would take over. She was telling herself stories about what might go wrong. Playing out outcomes in her head that hadn't even happened. And that kept her frozen.

Fear led to procrastination. A vicious cycle that had been quietly keeping her stuck.

In our sessions we talked about one simple principle: What's the worst that can actually happen?

She tried it once. And nothing terrible happened.

So she tried it again. And again.

And each time she did, she started to see something. That her own thoughts had been the thing holding her back all along. Not her circumstances. Not other people. Her thoughts.

That's when everything shifted.

She said to me "If I'd known coaching could work this quickly, I would have done this years ago."

This is why I do what I do. 💗

If you are stuck in that same cycle of fear and procrastination, I would love to have a conversation with you. Drop me a WhatsApp message and we will find a suitable time to book a free discovery call.

Not sure which direction to take your career? You are not lost. You just haven't given yourself the space to figure out what you actually want. 💫

Today, I want you to stop and recognise how far you have already come. Celebrate yourself!

What you seek, you will find.

I want you to think about something.

What are you actually looking for in your career right now? What do you want to feel when you go to work?

When you feel exhausted and stuck at work, your brain looks for proof that work is awful. And it finds it. Every single day.

The colleague who winds you up. The meeting that drains you.

You're not making it up. But you are looking for it.

And here's the magic bit.

The moment you start asking "what do I actually want?" things start to shift.

Not because the job changed overnight. But because you reframed the question.

You start noticing a conversation you could have avoided before. A role you talked yourself out of. A moment where you finally spoke up.

That's what direction does. It opens your eyes. But you have to decide what you are looking for first.

Tell me what would feeling valued and excited about your work actually look like for you?

Drop it in the comments. I'd love to hear. 💗

An important reminder: Success is an inside job.
When the internal obstacles are addressed, the external obstacles seem to fall away.

Sometimes what looks like procrastination, avoidance or lack of confidence is actually emotional self-protection.

Recently in coaching, I helped my client TD uncover a powerful subconscious pattern. It was a transformative moment for her.

My client TD would often focus on the one reason why something might not work, even when there were several possible reasons to try.

She had developed protective thinking patterns that focused more on avoiding failure, judgement or discomfort than exploring possibility and growth.

This wasn’t laziness or lack of ambition.

It was years of conditioning, comparison, self-doubt and emotional self-protection shaping how she approached opportunities, challenges, and decisions.

When someone grows up feeling criticised, compared to others or not “good enough,” the mind can become trained to prioritise emotional safety over growth.

That can look like:
• Staying silent instead of speaking up
• Avoiding opportunities
• Overthinking decisions
• Fear of judgement or failure
• Remaining inside comfort zones
• Seeking validation before taking action
• Talking yourself out of opportunities before even trying

One of the biggest breakthroughs in coaching is helping someone become aware of these patterns because awareness creates choice.

We also explored the cost of staying stuck.

The cost can look like:
• Continued self-doubt
• Missed opportunities
• Feeling emotionally drained
• Staying trapped in people-pleasing patterns
• Carrying past wounds into future relationships and careers
• Never fully stepping into your potential

Transformation begins with a decision.

A decision to stop surviving in old patterns and start moving forward intentionally.

When someone understands both the value of growth and the cost of remaining stuck, saying yes to coaching becomes far more meaningful.

You deserve more than just coping. You deserve confidence, clarity, peace and growth.

One of the most rewarding parts of coaching is watching someone change how they see themselves, not just personally but professionally too.

Recently, I worked with a client JT who constantly doubted her decisions, feared authority figures and carried emotional wounds from childhood into adulthood. Growing up, she was regularly compared to others and made to feel like she was never “good enough.” Over time, those experiences shaped how she showed up in life and at work.

Before coaching, she:
• Second-guessed herself constantly
• Struggled to speak up in meetings
• Feared making mistakes or being judged
• Sought approval from managers and authority figures
• Overthought decisions and lacked confidence in her abilities
• Felt emotionally triggered by feedback or criticism
• Carried anxiety and self-doubt into her working relationships

One of the key breakthroughs in our coaching sessions came from exploring what truly mattered to her and identifying her core, non-negotiable values.

For so long, she had been living according to other people’s expectations, comparisons and opinions that she had lost connection with her own voice and needs.

When we clarified her values, it helped her:
✔️ Make decisions with more confidence and less self-doubt
✔️ Stop people-pleasing and seeking constant validation
✔️ Build stronger personal boundaries
✔️ Recognise what aligned with her authentic self
✔️ Increase self-trust and emotional clarity
✔️ Feel more grounded and secure in who she is

Understanding your values is powerful because they become your internal compass. When you know what truly matters to you, you stop living through fear, comparison and approval and start living with intention, confidence and self-respect.

After coaching with me, she:
• Trusted her judgement more
• Spoke up more confidently at work
• Felt less intimidated by authority figures
• Managed feedback with greater resilience
• Became more future-focused instead of feeling emotionally trapped in the past
• Shifted from self-criticism to self-belief

The biggest transformation was internal. She stopped measuring her worth through comparison and started recognising her own value.

You are not defined by your past, your upbringing or the opinions of others. Your future can look very different from your past. And that's my goal for all my clients She's A Star Coaching.

A powerful reminder: Just do it!

An hour is a long time. Break it into 20 minute slots. Decide one thing that you want to do in that slot, set a timer and just do it. Don't over-think it!
