THE OFFICIAL GURSTON Speed Hillclimb Venue page Gurston Down Speed Hill Climb is a fast and twisty hill climb course near Broad Chalke in Wiltshire.
Drivers compete in a wide range of cars (and motorbikes) including standard road cars, specially prepared hill climb cars and spectacularly fast fast sport and single seat racing cars. All of them will pit their wits against each other, the clock the famous Speed Hill Climb Venue. You might think that this car is a Peugeot 205 T16 but it isn't.
It's actually a very well disguised Mitsubishi Evo under all the bodywork
It's such a good disguise that, at first glance, you can only really tell by the sound!
Just another example of the variety in cars we have at Gurston each meeting!

Aware there are loads of cars and probably some whole classes I haven't covered yet for which apologies. The day job is annoyingly getting in the way. Particularly conscious I've completely missed Russell Davies' Civic Type R which is always fun to watch and gets a whole post this time as he let me sit in it. Hey I don't make the rules*

As usual we will be having our Annual Hog Roast during the evening of Saturday 29th with music etc
This is free to all Drivers who have entered both days and Marshalls other dietary requirements can be catered for please talk the catering team
